You've put a lot of effort into this, well done. One thing i do agree on is that high end military weapons should be exceedingly rare. In fact go to many parts of the world and ANY type of gun would be a rarity. To me, finding a good gun should be a "YES!!" moment, not a "An M16 - how shit!" moment. So yes, less weapons and make the Zeds much more dangerous. As for more scares - definitely. Ramp them up! -

There is a small hut to the north of the NW Airfield in the middle of a forest. Six or so zombies spawn around it, though the building is non enterable. I stumbled across it in the middle of the night whilst lighting a fire to cook meat. The fire's glow highlighted it for me and it scared the bejeesus out of me. It reminded me of the buildings you see in horror movies - i am glad i couldnt enter it.

How about a mechanic that momentarily alerts you when someone is watching you (ie has you in their sights)? It doesnt have to be intrusive, just a tingling sensation. It might just give you a split second to go prone before a sniper blasts your head off. I know Rocket is implementing a 'gut feeling' mechanic when rolling your sights over an uber-bandit. I just dont think too many of us would get close enough to test this new mechanic out.

If Rocket is collecting data on how often people disconnect or Alt-F4 why not have this in the Debug Monitor as a stat. So whenever a so called "hard ass" looks at his kills he can also see how many times he's opted out and ran like a pussy. It will also allow those of us who watch their YouTube videos to have a good old laugh at them.

I dunno, all i think it would be was a slight shiver, you know the sort of feeling when people say "Someone just walked over my grave" It would be quick and not something that all players would recognise - not the sort of thing that would be persistent if the sights stayed on you. A half second chill and thats it, but something that could cause you to prone in an instant if you were quick enough to recognise it.

I am the same, i often have to change servers at my play start until i find one that is suitable. However i still dont think i would have a tenth of the disconnects that some server hoppers and pussies have. To be honest, this wont in any way affect anything. I'd just like a little reminder to these Alt-f4, server hoppers that they arent legit. Have a Leaderboard of top Alt-F4 and Server Hoppers. The Top Ten Soft Cocks

I agree. Like servers where 3rd person and crosshairs is turned off perhaps you can have Side Chat enabled/disabled. I've heard there are still servers with Side chat enabled.

True, but if you are playing the game legitimately you wont have hundreds of disconnects unless your internet is crap or your character is weeks old. I just think it would be nice for these pussies to see that they are not so bad ass after all. If i see 52 disconnects on my monitor i know they are legit, a server hopper though knows he's soft as the stat is staring him in the eye, taunting him.

I understand the concern, i have had a few deaths like this. I always keep an eye on who is connecting to the server i am on. If i see someone is connecting and I am in a high risk area i instantly find a spot and wait momentarily. This may be called cheating but so is server hopping in my book.
