How about some Hardcore Achievements: Football Hooligan - try and get as many zombies to chase you on the Berezino soccer field. F1 Champion - complete lap of Chernarus staying on roads, never touching grass or fields. Runway Sprinter - Number of laps up and down NW airfield runway (day server with more than 25 people online) Zombie Train - most number of zombies chasing you on the railway line Firebug - light as many fires as possible, bonus for spelling something on a hill or field Hardcore Sniper - length of time spent atop the Elektro power station smoke stack popping Noobs, without DC-ing Cherno Gauntlet - find a full day time server and with no weapons at all see how long you can survive running back and forth on full sprint mode

I used to like the Winnie, but the Enfield packs a bit more punch, especially around other players.

Too true. There are too many so called Bad Asses who sit on hilltops whooping it up with their buddies when they snipe a Noob from 500m. Get into a proper firefight with them and they either Alt-F4, ghost or run for it. Pussies. I love the thrill of Respawning. No other game gives you that feeling of having nothing.

Despite trying to convinve myself otherwise, i would probably pay whatever amount Bohemia decides on. I just cant imagine this game being released and me not owning a copy! EDIT: Must admit that i am not keen on monthly subscriptions though.

I agree wholeheartedly with the OP It would be nice if everyone were to play in the 'spirit' of the game, but whenever there are exploits people will take the piss and use them. I honestly dont see the point of playing this game if all you are interested in is server hopping, duping and Alt-F4-ing when things do get interesting. And the perma-death is a joke. For some players there is no such thing as perma-death, just a 30 minute inconvenience before they are geared up again. I really hope Rocket can implement a system that eventually does punish death for what it should be in a game like DayZ .

In some regards i agree. Being able to get fully geared up again after 30mins from Respawn takes away the Perma death experience. Death is merely an annoyance and not a real problem. Being the fucking hero that i am i can say that i have never gone back to claim my other body. But then again, i have no friends to grab the stuff for me either! Having the body disappear isnt really the answer though, i dont think, as this could penalise someone who shot you and is 'entitled' to loot your body. The idea of equipment getting possibly damaged upon death could be implemented, but if you got shot through the head why would there be a chance your weapon got damaged? Leave is i say. I prefer to start from scratch as i quite like the experience of starting agin with nothing, but others obviously dont. To each his own.

Makes sense to me that humanity should reset every respawn - after all it is supposed to be a new character you are playing, you havent resurrected. Every respawn should be a new beginning, so if you want to try playing a survivor, you can, or if you want to go the way of the bandit you can as well.

I am using latest Beta 95883, installed 1.7.2.5 manually - like i always have in the past. I logged into a server which stated it was a 1.7.2.5/beta 95883 I was logged out close to Stary so thought i would check a few things out. Upon first arriving at the military camp i was happily surprised that there were no glitches or artifacts. As i got closer however dead soldiers did seem to glitch in and out. No artifacts however. I continued to play for 30 minutes or so and as i was making my way back past Stary i thought i would check out the camp again. However, upon getting close artifacts soon began to play havoc again. I am no expert in the matter but for me it definitely did seem to be a time based thing - the artifacts only appeared after a half hour session or so.
