Fires increase your temp but have no effect curing you if you already have a cold. Only antibiotics, which are rarer than seeing a player at the NW airfield wielding a Makarov, can do that.

I agree with one aspect, making the high end gear ultra rare. There should not be as many AS50's etc as there currently are. I realise duping has a lot to answer for (and will surely be fixed), but really, what is wrong with just having the CZ and possibly DMR as the sniper weapons? Finding a high end gun should be a moment of unadulterated joy, not a shrug of the shoulders as the player decides if he should drop his L85, AS50 or M107. I mean are we in Eastern Europe or Quantico?

I think starting without a weapon is intended to give that real sense of "Oh shit, now what do i do?" You start with nothing and have to proceed accordingly. Are you happy to find a hatchet and head for the woods or do you hit up Cherno/Elektro for better gear? Despite the protests of many i have yet to have any real trouble gearing up at Respawn - the Zeds at present are no threat and until they are improved Spawning without a weapon doesnt really make much of a difference. I think you touched on the real issue, though - the fact that so many players have top tier weaponry, be it duped and/or stashed away in tents throughout the land. Too many players can get fully geared up 30mins after death. At present an AS50 is almost as common as a Makarov.

Not sure - as far as i know there has never actually been a wipe - though i could be wrong.

I saw what appeared to be a teleporting ghillie man near the balota hangars - he didnt do anything except stand still, but appear in different locations every few seconds. I stayed well away. By the way, has anyone EVER found anything in the medical tents south of the Balota airfield? That stack of AK's taunts me every time and i ALWAYS scroll the mouse wheel over them hoping that one day i will be able to grab one.

Not true. There are 3 deer stands just northwest of calamar airport surrounding a barn. These are definitely enterable.
