I havent seen the Hunger Games but i do know it is a total rip off of Battle Royale. A Day Z event like this would be awesome. The map would have to be small and well covered i reckon.

I remember the Atari but my games machine back in the day was the tape driven C64. When the disk drive came out i was over the moon. My favourite game - Wasteland.

I honestly do not see the point of purchasing a game like Day Z (ok, Arma 2) and then wanting to cheat. Why bother? But i think as codave has pointed out when you have never done anything difficult in life, why would you bother in a virtual world when you can just spawn an AS50. Dont worry, when the real zombie apocalypse happens these fuckwads will be the first ones hiding behind mummys blouse crying while the rest of us stock up on beans and AK's.

You should try Lingor. Sometimes it is hard to keep track of what character is what and where though. I think i have about 5 characters on the go - sometimes i log in and discover i have equipment when i thought i would be starting afresh. To be honest i think i would prefer one character per map - so when the standalone is released and new maps added we could have separate characters for Chernarus, Lingor, Utes and whatever else.

I didnt realise there was a particular style of play that was "right"? All this hate just because you play your way and the heroes who get more kills trying to slate you. I have played multiple ways and if the "correct" way is to survive, which funnily enough is what the whole point of the experience is, then low zombie kills and staying away from bandits is the best way to go. I've survived for 40 odd days with 70 or so zombie kills and also 2 days with 200 zombie kills - so which one is the best way? I know which is the most fun. To be honest zombie kills are pointless because they respawn - if you could clear out an area then all well and good. This is the same sort of argument about bandit or survivor - to each his own.

True. I went on holiday for a couple of weeks, get back - voila, instant 40 day old character. What a bad ass i looked, until i got Thunderdomed.

I just finished a huge zombie conga line at the Calamar runway in Lingor. 60-70 zombies i aggroed whilst running up and down the length of the airport. I was bored. A hacker even helped me out killing Zeds and dropping dead cows for meat. He said he would even provide me with a spotlight. Some hackers can be good sports. The bizarre thing about the event though......no one tried to snipe me. What mystery is this???

I've seen this happen. I think it occurs because players spawn the animals. When that player logs out i think the animal goes with them. Not certain though.

1 - Yep i agree, more zombies in more places sounds good. The fact that you can tell a player is around due to spawned zombies is total BS. I think this needs to be addressed. 2 - I agree that zombies that hear a gunshot should investigate though not necessarily aggro onto that sound. A slow meander in that direction would be enough 3 - This would definitely be interesting and in all honesty very realistic. Outrunning a psycho whilst carrying shit loads of gear is a tad whiffy of cow manure.

As has been said Kamenka is a great spawn. Why head to Cherno/Elektro to gear up when you can do it so much more safely (usually!) on the Kamenka to Zeleno trip?

Kamenka is one of the best spawn points. Deer stands galore and Zeleno just up the road.

He could have played it smarter and backed off. But could you have trusted the guy? With an L85 he probably would have backed off a little and then picked off one or two of you before you got him.
