Don't you realise that if someone pays for a server then they are entitled to all the good stuff and not to get shot at? Your job is to die when they shoot you. Tut tut...thought that was obvious.

Man, if America was ever invaded the enemy wouldnt stand a chance as just about every person would just pull out an armoury and blow them away. Here in Australia, we would have to stand aside as the three man invading army takes over. All we could do was heckle them, or hope the country boys come and save us. -

I think what i am getting at is DayZ Chernarus would be a vastly different scenario to DayZ Australia, which in turn would be a different experience to DayZ USA -

Thanks guys. Here in Australia guns are very hard to come by (after some nutcase 15 years ago caused the government to buy back all weapons) unless you are a farmer or sports marksman. Even then i think you can only get certain types of guns. Does anyone know of the types of weapons you would find in East Europe? -

I think the CZ should still be in game - perhaps as the only sniper rifle. It fits the region. Also i think you should be able to fit pistols and handguns in a backpack, but i totally agree about not being able to fit a huge rifle in one! Good job. -
In Calamar i have found bandits stationed at the large radio tower (?) and also directly opposite the ATC in the wooded area near the weird looking hangars. I once crept up to the radio tower and saw around 15 bodies strewn below in the military compound. The bandit was hiding prone in the bushes. Amateur solo snipers very rarely check behind them and sometimes you can creep up and place the muzzle of your gun on the back of their head. Just have a good one liner ready if you do this. If not "Fuck you asshole!" in your best Arnie voice always works.

There should be no high grade weapons in standalone

I understand why these weapons are in the mod, but i agree that some of them need to be removed or replaced for the standalone. I am no expert on Eastern European weaponry but i would assume most of the military use AK's. These should be pretty abundant around bases and whatnot. But finding thermally scoped snipers seems an overkill. IMO the highest grade weapons available should be the AK's and Russian equivalent of the DMR (SVD Camo?). Most survivors should be running around with shotguns, enfields and makarovs, not AS50's, M107's or the like. -
I like it, there should be little goat tracks like these all through the most visited areas.
