So are you saying zombies should only aggro after seeing you from only 10-20m away?

One thing i have always wondered about the Infected is why they behave like classic, slow moving zombies when there are no players (ie food) around but immediately turn Usain Bolt psycho when a player is spotted. When not chasing prey couldn't some of them jog around a bit, a few sprint around, a few lie on the ground, some walk and a few be seen banging their heads on walls.....just to spice it up a bit and make them appear a bit more deranged, brain addled and not so predictive?

I wouldn't count on it this Friday (hope i'm wrong) but i think Rocket and Matt are still sleeping after their marathon effort getting the video out last Monday.

I once watched as a helicopter was hit with a high powered rifle and pretty much nosed dive into the ground right next to me. 2 dead bodies later and i was fully geared up and ready to go. -

I think that some sort of unarmed pushing, kicking, punching will be added to SA. It does make total sense to be at least able to push past a zombie or kick it. But Neko why oh why did you have to use that word Bambi?

Standalone Suggestion: Infected Players

A few people are new here and it seems to be a hard concept for a lot of people to grasp but here it is again... The zombies in DayZ are not dead. They are Infected, sick, cannibalistic humans who want to rip you apart and eat you (as you do). See the great movie 28 Days Later for reference. You shoot them enough times or get a head shot they die. Players who die will not reanimate....because they are dead. Poison bullets? Is this even plausible? -

Ahh hackers......don't we love them so? TBH without hackers half these stories wouldn't have occurred Shame you got banned though. I once had a conversation with a Goat but he didn't give me any items thank goodness.

On my laptop there is a tiny icon of a lock with an arrow on F3. Try Fn-F3 -
I think the new combat roll needs to be seriously looked at. Have you seen the stuff you can do? Its one thing to jump over a fence but some of the things remind me of that other game.....jumping over cars, over barbed wire fences, across roof tops...all this with a combat roll.

I dont know if you can call playing DayZ fun - at least not the same sort of fun you get from other games. It is like nothing else you will play and that is why so many of us are here. I know a few people who thought like you did (What's the fuss, i dont see the point) until i persuaded them to have a go. And guess what, now they are hooked, just like the rest of us.

I have thought about a similar idea before and it would be a nice if a server could implement this type of game once in a while. Much like the Survivor Gamez though i think it would be interesting if all players could spawn at once so there is a true level playing field. I would definitely be interested in this sort of experiment.

My only issue was the long logout timer and it looks like that is getting fixed - good stuff.

So since it is an FM station are you going to have a proper DJ line up. I dont know about where you are but in Australia every FM station has the morning show which consists of "More experienced DJ, Considers himself a Comedian", "The Female Sidekick" and "Useless Bloke Whose Job it is to Laugh at Other Two's Jokes" I hope you don't follow this norm. But good luck anyway!!
