Green Mountain is definitely one of the first places i am checking out when SA is released.

My take is If the tents are full of high end gear, get your fill and then Destroy them. Destroy them all. Camps like that usually have a few satchel charges for you to play around with.

I "love" the new combat roll. Played a new map Oring the other night, just wanted to vault up ontop a dam wall and have a look around. Combat roll followed by 100 foot drop followed. Was not impressed.

Oh man, this ain't gonna end well....

Interesting idea. I also like the idea by the BIG CHAB that if you draw a weapon you are instantly thrown into 1st person as well.

What i want to know is why Second Person perspective is always left out of these games.

Less is better i think, but i suppose it depends on what sort of players you want to attract to your server.

I think skyscrapers will be a tad hard, especially enterable ones. I imagine the Western City would be more rural than completely Urban, though a Manhattan map would be wild if it could be done.

Could it be your Graphics card?

Just out of interest i have a little scenario (which isn't really uncommon - i have come across it a few times) and i ask you: What would you do and why? You are creeping towards Cherno after having just recently spawned. You have managed to find a hatchet and a Makarov. As you enter Cherno you hear DMR shots from within - a sniper. As you are moving through the city you suddenly hear a call on Direct Chat - someone has been hit, has broken legs and is asking for help. You manage to locate the player - his is in an alley and looks pretty geared up. He asks if you have morphine as he has run out. He then asks if you would go to the hospital and get some - in exchange he will give you a ghillie, a good gun (doesn't say what) and a GPS. To get to the hospital you have to run the gauntlet of the DMR sniper as he is camped somewhere and killing anything that he sees. My question is simple - what would you do? Help the player by risking yourself to get some morphine. Leave him. Or would you simply kill him and take the ghillie, gun and GPS? Anything else. Basically i want to see who is a bastard and who isn't. ;) Me -i'd help. Sorry, general questions like this have been asked before, but yet again i am bored at work.

I've used the Armory quite a bit - good to get a feel for a gun that you wouldnt normally find too often.

They are meant to be rare - thats the point. Finding one should be a stroke of luck (or not if someone is camping it) You'll find one eventually.

I had a run around the new map Oring the other night - some parts of that were covered with dense scrubby bush. It was impossible to see very far and made for a nervy few moments when i stumbled across a crashed heli in a small clearing.

I treat them more as psychotic cannibals wanting to rip my guts out at all costs then mere shambling husks.
