My Hatchet is reserved for camping bandits. But I have always had a soft spot for the AKM -
I spawned near Cherno and ran screaming towards the construction site and scaled the crane thinking i was safe from zombies. At the time you spawned with a revolver so i managed to shoot a zombie or two before falling to my death i think - it was a long time ago.

Since wrecked vehicles are going to be used as spawn locations in the SA we could see lots of variety in the gear found. For example military vehicles could spawn weapons.

I think the accuracy is totally gone. Also there must be a range where the bullet is deemed to disappear. I have often wondered what happens to the bullets those idiots always fire up into the sky whenever a military dictator is overthrown.

I have resurrected your thread from the grave!! I believe more degradation is the way to go. It is unknown how long it has been since the Infection started but it must be long enough that everyone is dead or zombified and cars have rusted out and so forth. One thing that has bugged me is the distinct lack of potholes in the roads, Where i live after a heavy downpour there are always numerous potholes that the council has to fix the next day. Surely in Chernarus there would be potholes everywhere. Some maps eg Taviana and Celle look like the apocalypse happened 20 minutes ago. More vegetation in cracks on the roads and pavements, potholes (some large enough to hide in) would make the world a tad more believable. -

Ha ha yeah i thought that too. A load of angry cows, goats and bunnies chasing a horde or zombies. But i understand what you mean OP - should zombies be attracted to animals? I think so - it would be hilarious watching 10 zombies hurtling after a bunny. However i don't think cows and goats would last too long in a field before being butchered.

I think the new Cherno is going to be an awesome place to explore and loot. A high proportion of the buildings will be enterable and with loot spawning in cars etc looting will never be as much fun. I am not sure if the settlement north of Cherno can even be called part of the Cherno sprawl - there is a pretty big gap between the two. It takes a minute or two to sprint up there from the city.

I think it is inevitable that some kind of DayZ will be modded - i just dont think Rocket will have anything to do with it since his focus is the SA. But the community may port it over. -

The new Cherno and Elektro are going to be awesome. What with car wrecks, loads of enterable buildings as well as the new loot spawns - you could literally explore the cities for hours. -

What is it with people demanding professional videos? Isnt the whole point of a dev blog to give us a snippet of what the guys are doing? Why would you bother creating a cinematic masterpiece when all you are doing is showing people where you are in development and what you are doing? You honestly can't please everyone can you? -

I think suggestions are fine but the devs are probably be more interested in how the suggestions could actually be implemented into the game rather than general ideas like - I want 10,000 zombies onscreen at once.
