There was another 9-10 tents on the other side with obscene amounts of ammo & weapons. Yeah all i did was walk up and cut 3 barb wires then hop the last and I was in. Their 2 zombie sentries in the castle weren't very good lol

Sorry to hear that. It's so shit when that happens. It has happened to me 1 time while I had tons of gear and 2 times starting a'new respawning on the coast with nothing. I don't think there is much that can be done without getting the patch out to fix the bug :( -
I saw this goat and was flashing starving but didn't want to CZ 550 it. So i dropped it (i thought in a memorable place) and axed it after like 7 dodge attempts lol. I then spent the better half of 30 minutes looking for the bloody rifle on lowest graphics (to remove lots of grass & shadows) I HAVE FOUND IT!!! lol well happy :D

Thank the Elders they did not eat it indeed lol. Yeah I was seriously thinking the game would eat all dropped items after a few minutes but luckily it probably doesn't too often.

So there I was outside Cherno watching people (as ya do) then all of a sudden a Ghillie hacker spawned me next to him. I managed to log out in time. Then 30 minutes later, roughly, another hacker spawned me and broke my legs. . .just about to kill me and i logged out. Came back with full gear & health as before only to be left in Novy Sobor. -- I've raided 3 deer stands and are rocking. Thanks hacker lol! Damn noob hackers can't even kill a sitting duck survivor lol. -- Has anyone else survived a hack-attack and what type of hack was it?

Any tips for finding vehicles?

Balota Airstrip. Once I found: 1 Huey / 1 Broken Huey (fixable not crash-site) & 1 Taxi (orange & white). Hope that helps dude -
Between Kamenka > Balota there is a ton of cows, goats and a few pigs and rabbits. Hope that helps dude. Good choice with the weapons. I've used that setup twice. Pellets are a life saver. Slugs are not good lol

First thing that really pissed me off about DayZ

I was hungry to the point where i was losing health. So i went to chop some wood but 'i had to be in a forest'. I literally ran through 3 of them to find a suitable one. Got the wood. Killed the cow, then spent 2 minutes finding the correct angle (which is 6 foot away facing it's ass) Then i lit the fire but it spazzed out and i then spent 2 minutes looking for the fireplace I finally lit it with 18 blood left! lol DEAD and for the first time ever i didn't FRAPS it lol!! It would have been easier to run to Cherno from the Eastern Balota outskirts even though the cow was next to me and trees & woods where abbundant. Grrr haha! -

Anyway moving on for the Mr Chip'on'the shoulder Auzzii big internet balls character. Somehow when i respawned i had 1608 blood and alive in the same spot with the same character where i died! I mus have been revived by Zombie jesus! 8 steaks cooked and ready to live once more. Finally a good bug which can't really be abused lol -
I currently have the crossbow as my main right now and it's the perfect weapon for zombie hunting in the city. I agree that those bolts take up a ton of space but the fact they are all reclaimable helps a little :)

I thought the same until today. Their is nothing like hearing M16A2 5.56mm rounds wizzing past you while you prone and open fire in 9mm Parabellum bursts during a 50-100m skirmish. -

So there i was being all survivor 2500-like in the top of the airbase when some motherfucker wearing a pile of leaves finds it appropriate to run up the stairs to the floor below me and start opening fire (with a SAW or something) into the room at me. I usually stay clear of human life but this guy wasn't backing down. So i pumped 3 Remington 870 Slugs into his leaf*-hugging arse at close range. He was bleeding like a fountain. I didn't kill him but he sure as hell fucked right off. This survivor is going rogue!!!

Come on guys, what the guys have achieved in this mod is nothing short of fantastic. The community gathering it brings is massive and it's a damn good Alpha. I remember the STALKER alpha. . .that was a bad Alpha. This is brilliant. Keep up the good work. Ps. Look out for those dirty funny walking people. They're a bit bitey

I have just entered Electro from the dock/coastal angle and omg I'm getting seriously paranoid. I use the flashlight intermittently and have even opted for the crossbow over the Winchester and lee Enfield. I've taken down 8 walkers with the bolts so far on my way into the area. Omg I don't scare easy with horror/survival but dear me this is worst than the first time i played Resident Evil 1 at age 7 (far too young i know lol)

It really does add a whole new element to DayZ. I should really find flares & chem lights during the day on another server first but I never learn lol. I was outside once when the thunder & lightning hit. Little things like the light > sound delay really makes DayZ & ARMA 2 stand out from the crowd. 2 Vids of the adventure so far: Pray for my legs to not break guys lol
