You ask if you offended a little nab? fella your video offends all gamers who love to see skillfull and creative gameplay. Prove we're not newbs by linking footage, that is flawed logically, there are hundreds of thousands of good players out there who have never recorded footage. Rather than waiting to laugh at others try asking yourself why so many of us are laughing at you. If i were you I'd resist further trolling and hope this thread slips into oblivion soon cos it does you no favours at all.

Thanks for the links, watched them, which one's sacriel? they are good players for sure but they lack a bit of humour and humanity, I prefer Frankie but that's just me edit - and that chris dude is pretty arrogant, he's good but i seen better

I play DayZ at least an hour a day, sometimes 5 or 6 hours but we'll call it one hour a day, say 5 days a week. Have done for 5 months. I have had ArmA2 for well over 18 months, the first 13 of which I probably played 20 hours per month on average. I paid around £30 for all the content via steam. So an extremely conservative estimate means this game has cost me less than 0.01p per hour. or £1.60 per month If you add to this the forums, the DayZ videos that have kept me entertained during dinner/server restarts then that has to amount to a very fair purchase indeed. A tenner for the standalone? a few quid now and again for improvements and new content? where do I sign

Forest fires could be season dependant, if during the height of summer the server has had X days seriously hot dry weather then crashing a chopper, throwing a molotov or lighting a fire may result in an inferno, this would be very rare but it's effect would be devastating. It could destroy tents, stashed vehicles and any players unfortunate enough to be in that particular area. It would bring with it renewal. -

you could make it very rare, I heard fuel is going to be harder to come by on the SA, if that is true then the Petroleum wars that would rage between the arsonists and the vehicle hoarders might add an interesting facet to the game. -
You are correct sir, however never underestimate Russina ingenuity. They changed the strategy and conditioned the dogs to associate enemy tanks with food, they then starved the dogs before releasing them with far greater success. the Viet Minh improved even further on this and used it to good effect during the vietnam war. The fact that there is a chance the dog will run back towards it's owner would give the training of the dog paramount importance, making this strategy both difficult and high risk. Imagine for a minute being chased by a bomb strapped german shepherd through Cherno, imagine watching someone being chased.

fair point, maybe i don't have a bullet, i'm bleeding out with no more bandages and I can hear the sniper in direct chat gloating over my imminent demise, with luck I'll survive long enough to hear him scream 'friendly!!' to my faithful pooch just before he beats me to the grave.

DayZmod is a mod based upon the ArmA 2 engine, they are entirely different games as far as playing experience is concerned. WarZ is a mod based upon the War inc engine, it too has managed to be different from it's parent game only slightly less so, especially considering it's budget and the fact that it is being sold as a standalone. DayZ standalone will not be a mod at all, it will be based on an engine that has been designed to fit the type of game DayZmod wanted to be. Don't you worry son, DayZ SA will be on an entirely different plane to both it's predecessors.

hmmm... the vid is called scaring people but you didn't scare anyone -
i just took delivery of a Razer Naga and have to say it is unbelievably good compared with the standard mouse I was previously using. I think it is worth trying a few out for comfort before you spend the money, if there is a shop near you that sells them then ask if you can try some out, they differ quite a lot in weight and feel and the end choice will be very personal, what works for others mught not be ideal for you.

Adding Kuru/laughing sickness would be an ideal way to balance this out a bit, the shakes could be incurable and maybe even add some random ticks and involuntary vocal sounds which could betray your position, it would make eating other players something you'd have to think very carefully about. On the one hand it may save your life but the penalty would be a real handicap on future survival.

I'd eat the internal organs, offal being high in iron for blood replenishment and I'd crack open the bones for all that sweet high energy marrow. Maybe a rump steak for the b-b-q and some roasted fingers and toes for snacking on later.
