i need some help, my game version is now back to 0.30.114008 altough i didnt changed back to normal branch. it downloaded another dayz update (108MB) i guess the old patch even tho im still in the experimental branch, what can i do?

why are the servers protected with a password?

I was hoping that direct chat would be fixed in the standalone but NOPE. not working! In the mod already my direct chat one day decided to not work for me anymore and the same problem still occurs in the Standalone and I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. I can write in direct chat and everyone is seeing what i wrote BUT I can't see what anyone else is writing. Please...PLEASE fix this....it should be already fixed for over a year now but no, its not! It sucks, i always get killed because i cant see what anyone is typing

I tell you what, NO Pc can run DayZ on max settings with 60fps....No! None. Niente. Keiner.

imagine it like that: DayZ is currently in Development.....just like any other game was. Imagine we have 2009 and....for example Bethesda is giving you the chance to play an early alpha version of Skyrim were most of the story, quests and landscape hasn't been build yet. They want you to run around in the world and try out everything that is currently possible in-game, to find bugs, glitches, unwanted stuff or other kind of things. Most of the stuff like smithing, perk system, etc..isn't ingame yet and will be implemented on a later date. That's how DayZ EARLY ACCESS ALPHA WORKS! It even says "early" in the title. It gives you the opportunity to be right in the development of the game. If you don't like it, uninstall it and wait for BETA or Full Release.

In the first week of release we got like 3 or even 4 patches....thats amazing...really! I just wonder if the devs here will continue this trend and bring out like 3 or 4 patches per week. No? I love the passion and hard work behind this project and watching closely how every piece of the puzzle slowly gets fit together in order to build a great game.

It would be interesting to know if they are working on bigger updates aswell and not just the daily usual patch.

well it's an early alpha and if a patch breaks the game it would be pointless to whine and cry about getting my money back since i already know that i purchased an unfinished and probably unstable game.
