    Thanks - I play with 7 buddys on ventrilo, I think one of them found a dmr withhin the last week. (Maybe I'm just to used to the pre-patch spam rates, which where ~free dmr with your empty tin can~)

I'll keep it simple Char very old, visited NW airfield over 15 times, easily 30+ deer towers, several trips to devils castle, EVEN the NE airfield, 3x Balmora, 9 "Murders" + some self defence & 3 bugged heli crash sites. So after checking like 300 possible military spawnpoints (and a lot of player corpses who also checked spawnpoints), I have never found anything but unscoped ak/m4s (no cqc version, m203 version, only a1/a2) & shotguns. Never did a item with the ridiculously low spawn chance show up - expecting a player to continue searching for this crap after over 12 rl-playing hours invested is just boring... and I noticed that the game bored me, yes. PvP you say, might as well play the modes made for pvp I say. (Also PvP is silly nowadays, you can kill 89% of people by simply watching the airport for 10 minutes. I died to a guy who managed to clip under/into the aircontrol tower (as in, he walked out of the wall after i was dead) - no scoped/maschinegun/real weapon on him either). Bye DayZ, may your future updates be more wise. [No reply will be given for posts without arguments / flamers]

  9. Anyone else losing there char [starving] cause the constant flashing "YOU HAVE ZE WRONG VERSION" (either to old or to new) + unable to find a server to connect to? Just have working releases every weekend, not every hour >.> /ragerant
  10. I unintentionally got -5000 humanity without even killing anyone, being a "elite bandit" is just pumping enough bullets into a lagging or dead dude, extremely easy to do and more a sign of ineffective use of resources and serious mental issues : P
  11. A Desert, large and silly, with some rare oasis water spots, big rocky mountains, extremly spares resources, but a lot of vehicles and parts for them.

    Yeah its horrible, a guy was shoting me and my buddys and I had to put 20+ rounds into him until the game catches up and was like "oh yeah, he should have been dead 2 minutes ago, here lose 7500 humanity (no shit, from 2500 to -5000, just because he shot my teammates instead of me first)" And whenever i run into a player, I can't even know if he didn't already shot me, but I know if I shot him, he somehow still has time to ignore 7 akm bullets in his head and fire back...

    Random Zombie Wanderers, and Wandering Hordes

    Infact the same thing is also mentioned shortly in my post, 3 minutes before you. The last part of the suggestion seems good thou, I would love to be able to actually "clear" a town for a longer time.

Just throwing some ideas out there, open to critic. #1: How about allowing a persons humanity (or other stats, such as zombie kills or time alive) to affect some of there other stats, some easy examples would be: -Add Humanity to maximum blood -Have Humanity affect the need for food/water -Have the amount of zombie kills increase your humanity (or maybe +1 gear slot for every 100 zeds killed?) -More Humanity > Less noticed by zeds -Add a Moral stat (increased by food/drinks [a lot for say, whiskey, a little for normal food, a bit for killing zeds ...] decreased by murder/damage [getting hit by zeds, killing a player, starving]) and the higher your moral is, the less shaky you are. ~And wouldn't it be fun if the bandit with -587610 Humanity shakes like hell? At least there would be a hint of skill needed to hit someone then : ) _____________________________________________________________ #2: More skins. Make the new max humanity like 10 000 and give players a special skin at that (Ranger/helper/nato trooper) - same for a ton of zombie kills, give them a especially badass skin so we don't have as many clone troopers and you can tell a little what a persons play style is like. And I think its silly that you get rewarded for being a bandit by having a far less visible skin, btw... ____________________________________________________________ #3: Roaming Hordes Zeds: Pretty straight forward, I suggest having some semi random mobs (Like one place holder zed, like a walking spawnpoint, that moves around to random points (Move, placement radius = mapsize) and when a player gets close enough (a bit further away then normal spawn points), lets them see a horde walking/shambling over the land. Maybe the leader zombies could have special drops, but mostly it would be fun to have a chance of seeing something besides animals when you run from X to Y. Militia: A small group of npc militia (friendly to survivors, unfriendly to bandits... lets just assume someone told em or remember that its a game and nothing in it is realistic) that move in much the same pattern, hopefully adding to a more dynamic game world (running into a place where those two groups go at each other would be fun, but also "holy shit, a zombie horde is moving though the town I am raiding, hide hide") (very rare) Air Units Random air units (mostly helis) used by a npc. Could potentially be shot down, looted or might fire a few shots at the zeds near you. Should never trigger zed spawns thou~ _____________________________________________________ #4: Char Development or - Its RPG TIME Dialog at the start (maybe even a starting room, with 3-10 flag poles) that lets you pick from some roles "I used to be a ... -Farmer > Spawns near a random barn (far enough out that zeds don't rush at you) -Office worker > Spawns near office/city -Hunter > you get the idea... -Mechanic (Near a gas station, maybe starts with a random industrial thing) ... And potentially different gear for each (which would happen anyway)~ ______________________________________________________________ Try not to pick out a obvious example and act like that example is the only part of the suggestion, thank you.
