  1. I love how you both point out it's a video game then call someone else twisted for playing it how they like (and how the creator has said is a playstyle that needs preserving), then - after calling him twisted, fantasize about doing the exact same thing to him, not motivated out of any desire to play as a bandit, just out of petty vengeance for a perceived wrongdoing in a "bunch of pixels" video game. I've yet to kill a single person in dayz (shocking, I know), but I know the bandits have earned far more respect from me for a well executed plan than you have for your hypocritical hissyfit.
  2. I'd be less inclined to claim it's not an alpha, and more inclined to say that "because" its an alpha it deserves the criticism. Alpha stages are where the game needs to be picked appart, Rocket needs to know what problems there are, otherwise how the devil will he be able to fix them? Even if people start calling the game unplayable (arguably over reacting, but honestly - some of these graphical glitches can certainly make most military loot spawns off limit), well - that's an indicator of how big the problem is, I don't see how that's unhelpful. If people start being uncivil pains in the arse over it, then yeah - they should pipe down and stop getting so frustrated by an alpha stage game mod, but I'd argue the people white knighting the forums as if being in alpha means it shouldn't be criticized are far more of a problem.
  3. A shame, it was nice having some incentive to not be a dick, earning a skin that might give people a little motivation to not shoot you on sight and in turn giving you a motive not to blat someone in the head just "because". That said, I can kinda see why it's being done, so no tears for you. People making the argument that it's "not realistic that you can tell if someone lacks humanity", need to realise that realism needs to take a backseat to gameplay at times, additionally, people that are psychopaths / completely devoid of empathy, usually show signs of it - these aren't really presentable in dayz, so while it's not realistic to have your clothes displaying it, it's also not realistic for their to be zero signs whatsoever.
  4. I'm still getting graphical artifacts going on, I was at berezino last night and it was almost impossible to move around many areas of it due to being blinded by graphical hell. Files are all updated. GPU is an Nvidia 560 with latest drivers, if that's any help.
