This sounds very similar to a problem I had a while back. I couldn't join any servers (including my own) hosted by a certain company but was able to join others easily. It was doing the exact same thing as you mention and customer support from said hosting company was useless. I ended up finding a workaround myself by changing the MTU size on my router from 1300 to 1500, and was able to get in straight away.

I bought one of the Official ones a while back... I really like it :) But back on topic, this guy would be cool on a tee...

Props to you for your positive attitude, and actually trying to change peoples perception of DAYZ.ST It's not an easy thing being dumped in a pile of shit and being told to make it smell good.

Balota Buddies Public is a 60 player server that is always packed. Has heaps of extra buildings added to the map too. Be warned though, it's pretty cut-throat.

Yeah This is why I cancelled mine too. Service was terrible and their attitude is a bit on the arrogant side.It's funny when you search the dayz.st servers on DayZ Commander and it brings up a huge list of mostly empty servers.

Needs more realism. In the standalone, I propose having electrodes attached to your body that give you a zap when you get hit by a bullet or zombie. *jokes*

I dont think hackers are able to change the server starting loadout are they? Ersan, can you please confirm or deny this?It's happened before when I had the server password protected too, so I dont think it's hackers... but im open to suggestions.

Ive been having this really weird thing happen on my server. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I have the starting loadout on my server set to the plain old vanilla default. You start of with the basic backpack, painkillers, bandage and a flashlight. I noticed that some of the players who were spawning in on the coast were spawning in with pretty much all the tools, antibiotics, sa58 primary weapon, tent etc So I checked the edit Starting Loadout in the control panel and all that stuff was in the starting loadout? I did not set this, and it's not the first time it has happened. It's also happened on other maps. It's really weird and random, sometimes there's pistols, other times lee enfields... when I notice it I always set it back to what it should be. Has anyone else noticed this? Im a bit worried as I dont want this to put people off playing on my server cause they think it's too noobish/easy/not a challenge. Beans for your thoughts...

Thanks for the guide :beans: Ive been using this xpadder config with a wired 360 controller for about a month now and I really like it. Scroll wheel actions (climb ladders, pick up gear etc) are done via the B button on the controller and a combo of thumbsticks and back button can be used to navigate gear. Haven't had any problems in firefights but driving vehicles is a bit tricky. I will admit it takes a little getting used to and may not be technically superior to a KBM, but I play dayz in my lounge room on a sofa 10ft away from my TV so a controller is more convenient and a lot more comfortable.

Try checking the hostname of your server to make sure it is compatible with DayZ Commander. Also check in DayZ Commander that you havent set any filters up that may hide your server (e.g if your server has a password, make sure to have the filter settings "hide locked" unchecked in DZC.
