    Coastal respawns!

    I think it's just a bug with the latest patch, been happening to me as of late. I was at the Airfield, but the server was laggy as hell, so I decided to leave and go find aother, woe and behold, opposite end of the world at Balota, with some of my gear (M24 and about 9-12 Mags, missing)

    Have you possibly checked what version of DayZ your running? Your friend may have the newest version, while you have a version older. Servers start to update soon after the game itself updates, so they won't show up. Had the same problem before, I had to update DayZ manually via DayZ's website, because sometimes things like DayZ Commander and Six Launcher wait awhile to officially launch an update. Once I did though, servers started to show, but a lot of them have a spawning issue.
