I took a break on dayz and started playing again this weekend. Every time I am a new spawn I spawn in berezino or right next to it. Its pretty annoying that it keeps spawning me in the exact same area. Something other than Berezino would be nice.

I agree with the music. It makes sense...scary movies use music for tension and I believe scary games benefit as well. I would like to see more dark and haunting ambient style music. I thought the breaking point mods music was at least decent seeing as its something at least. For those that prefer no music just make sure it can be turned off.

I'm sorry but how is streamsniping cheating or unfair. If I was in a real war and dumb enough to broadcast myself and my location on television you bet your sweet ass someone would take advantage of it.

Badass machine here. People just love to brag about their FPS. What the didnt tell you is they set everything to low and use 16 bit color. I have found on almost maxed settings that I get about a good 40 FPS outside of towns. Looking at the sky will go over 100 with vsync off. Cities will hover at about 20fps and sometimes dip to 18fps depending on whats going on.

im signing this too.....I actually work during the day and I dont want to play 100% of the game at night. FIX IT!

Any tips to help me find my friends would be great. Im not sure of the spawn points in stand alone. Also it doesnt tell you the starting location like the mod. Spent two hours last night trying to find my friend with no luck. Any tips on this would help :)

I havent had the chance to play DayZ in a couple of weeks and just tried the new patch with a friend on a low pop server. It seems to be a lot worse to me regarding zombies. They were spawning in crazy numbers all around us in town and then were glitching through walls and ceilings like crazy making it impossible to hide or even funnel them through a area. Is this the patch's work or the server I am playing on?

I just wanted to say thanks playing on this server last night. I ran into more survivors last night that didnt just shoot me in the face. Met about 8 others in the server and actually worked together at different points in the game. Very refreshing night not to be shot in the face by everyone. My player name was Lee.

People hack. Just goes to show you how many pricks there are in this world. Whats the point of hacking in this game but to just grief other people. It just leads to the conclusion that they are NOT fulfilled with their real life in anyway and its there only means to have any kind of control. With the amount of hackers I would say 1/3 of these people on the forums use hacking scripts. its fustrating playing legit and hackers taking me out all the time. But stay legit its the best thing to do.

The PVP gets annoying sometimes as I usually play as a friendly. I have snuck up on people countless times not killing them(easily could have) and tried to declare im friendly. This has almost 100% of the time resulted to me getting a bullet in my head. I just some others out there believed in teamwork.

I agree, my friend and I were playing last night when a hacker gave us a nice silenced rifle with 5 clips of ammo. I guess it was kind of nice of them to do that, but I would much rather earn my gear hacker free. Hacking is hacking whether for the good or the bad.
