    Ever seen a zombie in real life? Let's not talk about realism in a video game... because no matter how "real" a feature is, it can make the gameplay suffer, which should never be sacrificed in the name of realism.

    Holy snap! It would be nice to at least get a countdown timer, or give us visual/audio cues as to how long we are going to be out.

    So, after running around for quite some time I have fallen unconscious. Not exactly sure why as I have been eating and driking regularly. I have been looking at a black screen that says "You are unconscious" for over 15 minutes. Does anyone know how long it takes to wake up? Do you have to be revived by a player? Is it bugged? Or do you really have to wait that long?

    So I'm totally new to the video game film world. I figured since I am a filmmaker and I also enjoy video games, it was only obvious that I give it a shot. I made a couple of COD videos like a year ago and enjoyed the process. Here is a short DayZ trailer that I put together using just a handful of video I captured playing the game. I would love to make more, and definitely will when I gather more assets!. Anyway, enjoy!

    I think giving players the option to spawn as a Zombie would be great. It would definitely add a new dimension to the game. I think hunting survivors as zombies would be incredibly fun. Also, it would allow player controlled zombies to roam wherever they wanted, so even forests and non zombie spawn areas could now be a threat.

    Dang, I looked over the controls many times but could not find the holster option! But you're right, it probably is there somewhere :/ I'm going to boot up and test the double ctrl tap as well. Thanks everyone.

    I was thinking about this same idea last night. Allow users to find clips that can be refilled with ammo. You could also find bigger clips, like a very rare 100 round clip or something. Would be awesome.

    I dig the music. But yeah, obviously it can be turned off.

    Would love to see a 20 second cool down time in order to log off the server. Much like the way it works in World of Warcraft. This should help prevent people from Disconnecting or Aborting while being engaged in battle, or trying to evade zombies. So even if they were to turn their computer off, their character in the server would still be there for 20 seconds. Also, the 20 seconds restarts when the player moves, or takes damage.

    Technicalities aside, I think PC zombies could be done well in this game. Obviously you would not have any extra abilities that differ from the Zombies already, except for making your own decisions. I also think it would be cool if all PC zombies had some sort of clothing piece like a red hat, so all Survivors would know they are controlled by a human.

    That's great to hear! I think this alone will be such a great way to improve the overall experience.
