The punishment for bad admins is no-one to play with on the server they pay for and spend time administrating :-)

Unofficial server = their rules.

All I can say is that GUID was banned a long time ago - I may check out the source and go through it just so i can point out the report where that GUID was caught but I can't be bothered sorry. Your best bet is to try and contact them, altho pretty much every GUID has to be verified by multiple servers/sources before going into the banlist. @DCSkill - I am not defending the list, I am just pointing out how the system works - it does not target anyone.

royboy010, he was known for years after as a total hacker... his name rings loud, every day we remember this guy... the hacker! Srsly, if you want to play with your friends clean install your porn, keylogged, infected PC buy new "Arma 2 OA" CD key from a legitimate source (not a second hand place) and try running the game without hacks and you will be fine. Or actually watch the video, it is both amusing and factual.

Our server is vanilla and seems to have a few groups of regulars on it, sometimes they take days off... and now because duping is gone not many people have NVs so night time can be quiet... but in general our server always has some people on it and two admins watching it. Eh, I kinda sympathise with the admin here - but either way everyone should chill; if the guy is legit he should get unbanned, and if he is not the admin will post it yada yada... no need for the name calling or assumptions :-) Also as orlok pointed out it is a Private Hive... so just contact the host directly: http://www.zobgaming.net/ ... they are the only people that can do anything about your ban.

If it was a private hive you will _have_ to contact the admin of that server. Aaahh Smokey, one of our admins just found this thread and I wanted to apologise as it was myself that wrote this message to you, I don't believe I kicked you though, I asked you to leave whilst we worked out what it was you did (deciphering the script restrictions is a colossal pain in the ass (numbers don't match up properly), as is managing hackers). Literally 1 minute after you left I had figured out what it was and I felt bad... Also, we have only just realised that Dart does not show text unless players are in the lobby (in the group channel), are in the vicinity of someone else (in direct channel), or have global chat on... so I was unable to see your reply. You are welcome back anytime, and as you can tell we try our best to be hard on hackers and have 2 people keeping an eye on the server most times.

Change your Rcon password and contact your host ASAP!

Sometimes it is good to just join the server and witness the goings on with a capture tool like fraps, dxtory or msi afterburner etc... this way if you report them with solid proof you should be able to get their GUID perma banned (provided they are caught doing the same on other servers also). I read in the stickies that you should not post IP addresses (its easy for people to change IP's also), so you might want to edit your first post.

Just to throw in the counter argument: the community banlist has helped save our server as well as allowing us to submit cheaters to it preventing them from cheating further on other servers. Today alone on our server I saw two people being kicked by the banlist, we managed to have 25-30 people on for several hours with no hacking at all (a serious improvement - normally anything 20+ guarantees hackers). Every anti-cheat mechanism has its faults, if you have a legitimate claim I hope you manage to get it turned around, but I can assure you, most people crying about it (and say they didn't hack) have had their GUID logged hacking somewhere.
