    I think it would be fine to cover their head, usually eyesight isn't the most important part for a zombie to find it's prey what I've seen (movies/series) at least.

    Yes exactly, things that we can do to other players should also be available to zombies. Handcuffs+force feeding a shoe=passive zombie :P
  3. I think more ways to interact with Zombies are needed. As we all know atm they are just a small hindrance but that has Dean already said that it will change but what about more ways to dispose of them. Some things I think could lead to interesting scenarios are if we could trap them in different ways. The most basic way might be just to fix them not walking through walls so we could lock them in a house, that could make a nice trap for the next survivor. ;) But what about tying them with a rope to a pole or other object (player :o)? This would of course be hard if you have alerted them, so maybe we could have some way to distract them. With the new physics engine maybe we could throw rotten flesh or something.

    what weapons does dayz2017 have?

    On the servers that's running vanilla 2017 you should not expect any CZ 550, might be that someone has from the old days but I think all weapons that aren't spawning are being banned if used. You can find ammo for it though. *edit* None, but I think shinkicker is working on some.
  5. I was thinking the same thing, but maybe we can think of the dusty/rusty ones like they are damaged, then there is a chance the food inside is contaminated. It would be really nice if Joey could add something like this maybe not so much damage but similar for the older ones. Would be a ton of more work though I guess. Keep up the great work everyone!

I guess you can't login anywhere while the timer is active "* [NEW] - New Load screens added to show timeleft for combat logging." but it will probably be tweaked, I think it would be good if the timer is quite long (to hurt the real combat loggers) but you should be able to log back in if you try on the same server so you might be able to save yourself if it was an unwanted disconnect or similar.
  7. I played around on Thirsk the other day and a few things I ran into... Couldn't harvest any wood at all, I tried random places from Sudensuoja down to Hirvenpää and the over to west of Thirsk without any luck at all. And at Sudensuoja there was a Tractor and a Helicopter inside the big factory building, impossible to get any of them out, is that normal?

    Thats kinda sad, when I read it I thought Rocket had added some randomly spawing zombies in the forest to make it a bit less safe out there.

    Proximity Login/Logout Notification

    I've been thinking the same thing, should be some indication, but for both parties, or maybe just so you can't login very close to someone. Ya this has happened to me too a few times, not nice at all, only thing to do atm is to check the list of ppl about to join the server and wait till it's clear, but you are never really safe when in a place popular for server jumpers.
  10. FreaK, you seem very much like me and at the same "place" in game, think my next step is to make a small camp to hopefully make a death less painful. I like south Berezino for medical supplies, not nearly as crowded as Elektro and Cherno, but you can also find the boxes at heli crash sites.

    Make weapon-holstering keybound

    Sounds like a very good idea! The other day I got sniped and did a quick run back to my corps and started looting when a other survior showed up, I just had a hatchet out but had looted most of my old stuff, and he was nice enought to not shoot first and ask questions later. So I thought I should show my thanks and lower my weapon (hatchet) by puting it in my tool belt but what I didn't think about then was that would make my handgun pop up in my hands instead... then I was dead again.
