Where you were sitting is a common spot for people who think they can snipe sit, well that general area. Also lots of hoppers so that's probably what got you up there.

I might have a solution, follow the steps i put below. Verify the cache for arma 2 and Operation arrowhead as well as any of the DLC's if you own them. If you don't know how, Right click the game in your game library > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game cache. Now try downloading and installing this beta patch. http://www.arma2.com/downloads/update/beta/ARMA2_OA_Build_103718.zip Then run your Regular Arma 2, wait until you get to the main menu and quit the game, Do the same with Operation arrowhead, Now try joining a server and let us know if this fixes your problem.

The PKM mag is for the PKT on the Mi-17 helicopters, They might have added the PKM/PKP to the mod but I'm not too sure on this.

Try verifying both Arma 2 and Operation arrowheads game cache on steam. Then run regular arma 2 on steam, Do the same for operation arrowhead. Then use Dayz commander to try and connect to a server.

No there is nothing wrong with handing out gear and locations of gear, I mean I did it all the time when I actually tried to help people, then that ended quickly, (I was a hero, like +26k, I'll get some screens in a bit.) I would continue doing it if I were you.

You need as others have stated above 500 posts to change your member title, Anyways might be worth a look in your settings, if it isn't available maybe try asking a forum admin nicely?
