I've tried Defcon and Vilayer and well. defcon isnt very helpful and they really dont know much to assist you and Vilayer, omfg shoot me, they were total jerks, 3 days and they could not set up a server and then i get shit from them when I ask fo rmy money back. Good luck!

It is a script the the hacker runs, any time he wants and they can place them anywhere, any time and a lot of them will actually disappear after 3 to 5 minutes, what ever they set it too. We had someone literally walking with god mode on, through Cherno and placing boxes everywhere and each box had 50 over everything in them. It is a way for them to supply others because they have ones that do everything they need on themselves, they don't need to be in a box. The worse part is, it seems the harder we work to keep them off our servers, the crueler they are about what they do. Sucks but Battleye will get them eventually.

We had the same issue on our server and finally we reinstalled Battleye, I know it's a pain but after shutting down, reinstalling it and starting it back up, it hasn't been an issue for a couple of weeks now. Battleye is whats kicking you so a reinstall can't hurt. It is the 3rd time in 6 weeks we have had to do that in order to keep things working.

I currently have Defcon, they are OK but no one knows much more than setup and you are damn near on your own after. Was going to try Vilayer, they advertise 1 hour setups then maybe 24hours to get Dayz ID but after 3 days and still nothing, I can't imagine what kind of support I would get if they can't set one up in 3 days so they are canceled. It is a headache to as advertised above, get a trusted friend to help you and your error you got about accessing the panel, you will need to reinstall the game be it .6 or .5. I had to downgrade to .5 and then go back to .6 in order to get it to allow me into the panel. Then I had to wait while I had Defcon reinstall my battleye because my CP panel would not update as it should. This is all on a managed server too. Today is day 3 waiting so I finally told them to cancel the order, lets see how long it takes them to refund the money. There is something going on with them they aren't saying but use caution signing up with them.

I tried to change to them and have waited over 48 hours and still no server. Was told they ran out in NY and I already canceled my other provider so now I have to cancel them and try and get my money back and find someone else. I really don't like when it is advertised immediate, the says maybe 24 hours due to session id, then takes over 2 days and still nothing. Would have loved to have the options they offer but 48 hours is not acceptable.

So, let me ask this, if the server is still official, can you still change the vehicle amount and other items? Currently waiting for the order to complete, sent email about the differences here and on your site also.

I was thinking, they are using us and our desire to play this game to test, build and market their game, awesome, glad to help. If this issue goes ignored much longer, maybe we, as server hosts, should shut down our servers, for a day or two, all at the same time. Then how do you think their backers would feel if they found out all of the game server privately hosted where shut down? I think the issues would be resolved once it impacted them.

Bahaha, most of you are full of shit, you all do it, I have rarely, and I mean very rarely shoot someone and they NOT bail. Unless they go down fast and don’t have time to bail, they bail. My best is to take you with me on the way out but reading these makes me laugh, if I can bail and save all my gear with my group, come back in and patch up and keep going, I’ll bail in a second. I WILL try and take you but if I am bleeding out, don’t know where the hell you are, rather than risk a friends life too, I will bail, I will be back but don’t blow smoke, you all do it, even if it is ONLY to get rid of annoying zombies chasing you, you do it lmfao!

I can't believe no one has even remotely addressed this issue. After hours of work, tents, atv's, a truck, it is not there when we go back, seriously? I know, I know, I've read all the posts but that is a MAJOR issue and it is NOT new, it is ongoing so you must ask, WTF?

If we are on a managed server with an existing ID from the server provider, should we still register or allow our provider to manage it. I do not wish to cause conflict with an existing ID by submitting another when not needed. It appears you might have enough on your plate.

We recently got our own server and there were a couple of questions I have been trying to find an answer to but can't locate anything yet online. The map displays blue where we are and where the closest players are, can that feature be turned off? I have not seen it before on any other server we have been on. Secondly, does anyone know of an auto restart script to add to the server so it reboots at preset times since I tend to work a lot, I can’t always restart it on a consistent schedule. If there a way to message players before restarts? I know global is turned off is why I ask. Thanks for any assistance.

I was looking into hosting, I have at my home, a Poweredge R300, Intel Xeon CPU X3323 @ 2.50 GHz X 2 and 6 GB RAM on 64 bit OS 2008 R2 and 25 mg up and down at home. What would be your thoughts, would it run it? If you have something in the Boston area NOT over expensive I would consider that as an option also.
