How would you like the game to track actions like this?

There's a difference between having a strong artificial element that doesn't make sense, vs having creatures that do not exist in your game. Please learn it. I'm tired of everyone using 'but zombies aren't real' to defend their highly unrealistic ideas.

At this point, anything is better than BattlEye. I'm tired of having to troubleshoot issues for hours every time BattlEye fucks up.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I'm currently experiencing this issue with a few people on my server and I don't quite get how to fix it.

I would respond to your initial post in this thread and make nice little yellow counter-posts beneath all your red posts, but I simply do not have the time to do something like that. I'm a university student and I'm pretty busy just trying not to drop out. You clearly missed the point of this thread, Vertisce, as I told you before. This thread is not here as a cover for abusive admins, and I haven't seen a single abusive admin point to this thread as a defence of his practices yet. I honestly don't see any way in which an abusive admin can use this thread as a cover for his admin abuse. Hey, at least I'm being honest here. I didn't start shooting people after the bandit skin was removed. I shot them before that too. I shoot people because you can only 'co-operate' for so long before you get tired of trekking across the map and collecting gear before you start looking for something that vaguely resembles a challenge. If Rocket does something to make it hard to actually survive the zombies, maybe I'll rethink the way I play. As it stands now, being a survivor basically entails running to Stary or the NW airfield, then doing nothing because you've already got all the gear you need.

And as a non-douchebag server-owner myself, I don't ban people if there's a chance they're innocent. Why not? Because Rocket said no, that's why not. If I see someone with a hacked weapon, I inform him and tell him to drop it. If he doesn't comply, I'll ban him. /signed server admin who follows the DayZ-hosting rules.

They'd have to respond, because they're essentially harming innocent people. This could result in quite the scuffle in small claims court, and might even go big depending on the amount of people this affects.

I don't know how BIS's partnership with BattlEye works, but don't they get a royalty from BIS for every game bought?

I honestly do hope BIS decide not to use this piece of shit BattlEye in the standalone, or even ArmA 3, for that matter.
