If you don't allow PK on your servers, what do people do for fun? Spend ages collecting loot and then looking at each other and telling each other how cool you look with all your equipment? Do people ever die on PK servers?

I see only a playerlist with four names on it, not proof that they were kicking anyone.

I had it happen to me once as well. Was playing on my own server, ZA1, and got killed in the garage area of the Firestation in Elektro. I aborted and respawned in the place I died. Think it's a bug with the Hive server or something. Never been able to duplicate the issue again.

YES YES! Blacklist ALL those servers. Bad people running servers for FREE for you, but they limit the slots. Bad, bad people, yes. Clearly not. There's always somebody who wants to play cyberpolice. I just hope he has protection against backtracing or else all those BAD server hosts are going to hack him and consequences will never be the same. Seriously, I wish people would fucking stop trying to play the police. Take it up with the individual server admins or the DayZ staff. Stop always trying to play little Mr Police Man on the forums. Those servers are there for YOUR enjoyment, free of charge.

Admins don't have the magical ability to teleport players around. If this incident actually happened as you said, it was hackers, not admin abuse. The admin could have been hacking, but it would still be a hacking abuse and not admin abuse.

No evidence, a shoddy testimonial and sentences that you have to read twice to understand. Sounds legit. Blacklist the server.

Been getting this with Rcon GUI, not sure how to fix it. I've tried running it directly off the physical server itself, but that didn't work, and running it off my own PC also gives me the same error. No idea why it does it. My Rcon password is input correctly, I've ensured the ip and port are also correct, but it always tells me 'Could not connect'. Am I missing something, or why is it giving me this issue? Bercon connects fine, btw.

By removing people I catch DCing, I AM protecting the other people in my server from them. If they're banned, they can't bother the other people on my server. Also, this nonsense that it is 'unfair' that I can ban players I catch DCing, but not those other people are catching DCing is also pretty much hogwash. So I should stop banning people for it because it is somehow 'unfair' towards the other people on my server? That's like saying it's unfair that traffic officers can fine speeding maniacs, but civilians can't.

There is nothing realistic about a pitch black screen.

He seems to think people who have been banned from multiplayer have the magical ability to play on this server. Protip: Once your serial key is banned, you're not playing again. Period.

*sigh* The majority of servers ban for this. Show me where one has ever been blacklisted for it?

Server admins don't have the magic ability to roll back our servers, because we don't have access to the Hive to alter our saves.

Indeed, his manner of handling it leaves a lot to be desired. The problem is, aside from actually actively announcing it ourselves, there is no other way of doing it. We don't have tools available to us that automatically broadcasts just before the server resets. Not all of us have the time to ensure we're at our PCs every time just before a restart so that we can announce restarts.
