Yes this is a survival game. I camp with a clan at the NW airfield, to get good gear, and kill anyone on sight. As much as I would like to share, I have been shot with a Makarov in the head while in a small villiage, while I was holding my awesome M4A3 CCO SD. I saw that dude first (Survivor not Bandit), and decided not to shoot. He shot me (I was also not a bandit). Hence why I now shot first, to protect my self, and my clan members. There has been several times when I have been in a sniper position on over-watch for my clan, and have seen people, announced on side chat that I see them, and not to come any closer or they will get shot (Usually they have winchesters or ak's so are not much of a threat at the time, but if they come closer they will be). 1/2 the time they listen, and the other 1/2 they back off and try to flank, and usually end up dead. People make stupid decisions = ending up dead.

One of the problems with choppers is to use them hopping from town to town, getting suppiles etc is you need at least 5 people on board the chopper (pilot, door gunners for defence against dudes with AKs and zombies who follow) and x2 (or more) peps to raid said barn hospital store etc. With 5 people knowing the choppers location, the chance of it going 'missing' is very high, hence why I am the only one who knows where it is, and I have one gunner to make life interesting. Flying around killing people for gear is easier than landing, clearing zombies, running around shop, kill more zombies that have respawned, reland chopper, get in take off. Kill isolated survivor: kill, land, loot, take off takes about 5 times quicker than an assult on a town, and the chances of getting some good loot is much higher. Personally I don't kill players that have just spawned in on the beach (there is no point), but if they are running along a railway track or road (along the beach) then they are fair game, as they have had the chance to hide in the forrest. Also if a player is running along holding a flare they are going to get shot. I manage to get around all right at night without flares.

It's known as griefing. Some folk get their kicks off of stepping on ants and those that can't fight back. But they can. A CZ550 does a tonne of damage. Hiding in a house/forest also saves you. I would like to kill survivors all over the map, but 90% are by the shore/spawn points. They also bring it on themselves - example chat message 'hey a chopper over whoever is flying it can I plz have a ride?' Really?

Not really. If there is more than one player' date=' you collect several jerry cans and fill them. Once gas is low, stop at a gas station and refill the tanks. Finding gas stations is pretty easy from a helicopter perspective. [/quote'] Currently I fly the chopper by myself or with one other person. x50 fuel takes a good 20mins to fully fuel.

On ANZ1 I kill newly spawned players using helicopters, but not with guns. I get a hoard of zombies, and then hover over the player I wish to kill. If you want me to kill normal players (ones that have been alive for some time), I can do the same thing over the NW airfield if you wish, but for newly spawned players it isn't such an issue.

Press 'f' until it says 'flares' in the top right corner. Then press the left mouse button to throw one. The longer you hold, the greater the distance. Make sure you have flares/chemlights in your inventory.

Well I am a New Zealander, the time difference is not that great. Racists!

Other shot guns should do the same damage as the winchester.

Yep the vehicles were bugged, Found a huey, all green (apart from some windows) and a UAZ (all green) and a massive group of people, had a great couple of hours buzzing around everywhere, untill the server restarted :-(
