Phantasm (DayZ)

This has NOTHING to do with ghillie suits. I have had this problem the past 2 days (I didn't get it this morning). I updated before logging in today thinking it may have fixed the problem, apparently it may not have. I do wear a ghillie suit but a friend of mine does not and he has also had this happen to him. Those people who keep saying "I have a ghillie too" need to reread the thread. This isn't related to ghillies. Just to make it clear. Just play safe, if you're in a far away place you'd rather not run to, don't risk it. It didn't happen to me this morning but I likely won't even try to log back in and risk the hour long run.

Yeah I haven't lost any gear. Logging on the coast with the gear I do have is pretty damn risky...

This is happening to me now. Keep ending up on the beach after logging for 12 hours. has happened the past 2 days in a row.

Giving props to Soulshaper2. I got into a really bad situation where I managed to bandage myself at 150 blood. Got in touch with him and we worked out the meeting. Being the cautious person he is, which I understand given I'm the same way, we finally got to meet up after I gave him the wrong map coords but the right verbal directions. His overwatch team were very professional making sure the shots they took were zeds and not the injured man popping up to check his surroundings. At one point I had a crawler coming into pretty close proximity of me (no joke...5-7 meters). One slap and I was insta dead. A few moments after spotting him behind me starting to close in...crack, zed down. Instead of giving up and going to bed since he's from the UK, he refused and continued to look for me until the job was done. Not an easy task finding a prone person deep in the woods. So, definitely gotta give it to Soul for his effort as well as his teams aim. I really wasn't expecting that level of determinition and accuracy. The whole encounter would've been much shorter had I used the DayzDB map, which I'm also thanking him for, my new replacement.
