Nope, its been like this these last couple of patches.

I understand that some would prefer to avoid night time (although you should probably try the new version of "night" in game, its basically just greyscale day-time) But weather will become a core mechanic in game, with the risk of exhaustion/hyperthermia. If you can just avoid these by shifting server than its a bit like being able to change server to avoid eating or drinking, its makes no sense. Hence why i think all servers will be running the same temperature/weather conditions regardless of server time.

It will be coming. But they'll need to sync the servers to a global weather pattern, otherwise people will just avoid the cold servers, like they do the night ones.

I think so longs as the game gets no more advanced that the AK and M4 we should be okay. A few more hunting rifles would be nice and I could be tempted to go as far as SVD/RPK as legendary rare end game weapon. No scars, mtars, g36's, fmags, gpm's, military grade NVG's & rangfinders.

I have no problem with this, especially given how redundant night vision is in this current build

working as intended. I don't want to spawn just 3mins run to the nearest military loot spawn, which would be the case if they spawned you anywhere other than the East coast.

The only reason i see a need for vehicles is to give us something to do. Personally, having vehicles just seriously reduces the size of map. I want to have make sure any ventures out of my "base" require supplies and planning rather than just jeep-jambaree'ing across the map in about 90seconds. Im a cold hearted killer, im not going to lie. But i like the challenge of it without vehicles, its fair, hard and rewarding. But as soon as they let me roll into a town with near inpuntity and bum rush the inhabitants, and keep going until all the cities and villages are cleared It just gets a little too close to BF4 for my liking. Want to travel sightly faster. introduce push-bikes. To address the "we need something to do" comments. Then perhaps invest the development time into static bases, advanced crafting, including rafts, and fortifying instead with a complex mix of crafting and gathering.

I love the fact you might need to rush an equip the stuff needed for Survival (rods, bows, fireplaces etc) before prioritising weapons. The fact that more encounters will also be between two likely unequipped individuals will likely mean there may be more cooperation. However, it might go the other way, where looting players becomes the quickest and easiest way to gear up, although risking you processions for a can of beans and a scarf is unlikely. So i guess they'll be a lot more running in the opposite direction - which is still better than PVP 24/7. With this reduced food/water spawn, the survival elements need to be greatly improved. Farming goes towards this, but we'll need a wider variety of gathering foods to expand the number of fruits, berries, nuts and leaves you can eat. This will give the edge to those who can survive over those that want to murder. Handmade weapons like grades of bows, spears, clubs, atlatl's. flint knives, upgradable arrows flint, wood, metal etc need to be expanded and buffed to encourage usage. Once you've reached a point where everyone is running around the forests (not cities) being hunter gathers dressed in the warmest clothes they can find (rather than the most camo'd), being armed with nothing but a bow and flint knife. Then DayZ becomes a reality. Sure the ruling elite will still have there weapons, but when ammo is in such short supply wasting a mag on the guy clearly holding just a wooden spoon and bag full of berries seems a great waste of investment. Instead the these Elite hunt other elite players only where the means justify the gain.

I'm sure a rep did mention they would be "aiming" for this week, but clearly they missed that shot. But it was pushed to "Early part of August". So common sense dictates if its not this Wednesday, it can only be next Wednesday.

Try morphine or a splint. Many, including myself have reported this reduces the effect greatly. Then add an addition hold breathe action to another key, so you right click and hold + plus press your other binded key for double hold breathe. These two methods combined make shooting accurately possible.
