I agree, the default weapon sounds in ArmA II sound really boring, a lot of them sound the same to me. I guess walking sounds could do with some tweaking. edit - maybe if i download J.S.R.S or the ACE sound mod I might check again. Perhaps the devs could look into mods like that?

Not looking good sorry. You'll be getting barely any frames if you manage to play. Should be fine, 30 - 40+ on high. CPU is quite slow, and intergrated graphics will not agree with this game at all. Sorry. Not sure exactly how well, but if all goes smoothly you could be getting 20 - 30 fps (maybe) on low - normal settings. Not at very high at all, even with AA, PPE shadows etc all turned off. You might be getting 20 - 30 on low.

That should be fine, 30 - 40+ on high.

I would imagine you'd be getting ~30 fps on lowish - normal settings. Very, very old. I don't think you'd get to the menu screen with that, sorry.

I would think you'd be getting 30 - 40 on normal :)
-
I would seriously doubt it, sorry. Your CPU is very slow and you are running on intergrated graphics, and both of them mean very poor gameplay. Since the 650 is only 2 cores, you may see some issues there, and the GPU is quite old, and might hurt your frames a little. You might get ~20 - 30 on normal settings.

If you have read the manga 'GANTZ" there is an onion addicted alien who pretty much cannot stop talking about onions. Don't worry, 496 posts and you'll be able to change yours to whatever you want!

Gigabyte, ASUS, EVGA…are all really great brands, MSI is pretty good but I hear their motherboards and GPUs are a little sloppy. l've heard they are still usable though, I'll be getting the G45 motherboard in a bit, should do me fine.
-
That's the one. It goes from 'On the coast' to 'Woodland Warrior' to 'Survivor' and then to 'onions are enough for me' im pretty sure.

What is your PC specs? Are you choosing servers from your country? Did you have decent frames and ping last time you were playing?

What settings are you running it on? Anti-Aliasing and Post Processing Effects take a chunk of FPS out of gameplay.
-
30+ on normal settings. 30 - 40+ on high settings. You'll also need to consider what gen your CPU is. Ivy and Sandy Bridge CPUs like the i5 3570 and i7 3770 use the LGA1155 motherboard socket, whilst Haswell CPUs (i5 4670, i7 4770) use the LGA1150 socket. Also, like mZLY pointed out, if you plan on overclocking, you'll need the correct chipset (Z77 for Ivy / Sandy Bridge, or Z87 for Haswell).

Sooooooo... You saw a person trying to kill zombies, (and failing terribly, by the sounds of it), so you killed him, and then turned that into an inanely detailed, 100 word story? Seems like typical anus-ery to me. -
Like mZLY said, get that 780 in there ASAP, because intergrated graphics are balls. Really balls. Just because the game needs a powerful CPU doesn't mean it relies solely on it. Intergrated graphics are poo when put under stressful programs. That looks fine, should run at 30+ on high. The CPU is a little on the slow side, and the GPU is quite old. Upgrading both of them would do you some good, but otherwise you won't be getting awesome FPS on decent settings. Looks fine, should run 30+ on normal settings. Looks fine, but tbh if you wanted better frames you could up that 7790 to something stronger. 30+ on normal settings.

I'm not sure how much of an issue it is, but I don't think ArmA likes the 6 cores of the 6300.
-
I will give you my onions! Please! PLEASE TAKE MY ONIONS!
-
That would be a good idea. Keep in mind though the ArmA II demo lacks a lot of features, so you might be getting alot more performance-wise than you would with the full game.
-
Not exactly the same as ArmA II, but somewhere along the lines of it I would imagine.
-
Ha ha, I'm pretty sure it'll run really bad. LoL and Blacklight are not the most intensive games to run, ArmA II is a whole different kettle of fish. Implying you could manage to run the game, you would be getting <10 fps with everything on low or disabled. Your CPU is running at 2.2GHz, which is incredibly slow. I would be aiming for at least 3.0GHz with 4 cores for decent gameplay. Intel are usually the bare minimum for GPUs, Nvidia and AMD are the two main competitors. For Nvidia, a GTX 650 would be the minimum, and for AMD, a 7770. But even with $2000 computers people might still only get 40 fps, ArmA II just hates everyone, some people are lucky, and some aren't.

ITS A CONSPIRACY! QUICK, ROUND UP ALL THE MODS AND DEVS, THEY'RE PLOTTING AGAINST US.

Even on lowest possible settings that will lag terribly. Near unplayable, I would say. Sorry!
