20 - 30 fps in the open, so in cities and forests that will drop even lower. It would be playable, but firefights, forests and cities will be a nightmare. Maybe you could ask someone with a similar computer if they can run it smoothly?

Maybe, but 2.5GHz is a very slow clock speed, and the 635m is a 'middle class' GPU according to game debate, so I would put your frames around 20 - 30 on low if you're lucky.

Since I don't know your exact CPU / CPU speed, I would probably guess ~20 - 30 on low. If you can find out what your CPU is, I'll be able to give a more accurate answer.

This is sad. Who the fuck hacks a game that is barely even out yet? People who do this kind of thing are the bane of my existence.

That doesn't sound too good. The 7470 is an 'entry level' card, which basically means its for non-gaming purposes. APUs are AMD processors that double as a GPU I'm pretty sure, but I don't think you'll be getting great frames.

I know the rabbits where explained in an announcement. All ambient life makes zombie sounds. I believe its because they put most of their attention to the core elements of the game, and focused less on audio.

I'll need a little more information on your CPU and GPU. What model is it? Right click on your 'computer' and select properties, to see your CPU and right click your desktop and select 'personalize' > 'advanced' to see your GPU. I'm not entirely sure if it works this way on Windows 8.

Yeah, thats not looking good. 2.0GHz is a very slow speed and using intergrated graphics is really bad, especially for a game like this. You might get 2 - 4 more FPS out of the SA, but I'm not 100% on that. This doesn't look like it will get good fps at all, sorry. 1.8GHz is extremely slow, and intergrated graphics are not for gaming. You probably be getting <10 in the open areas, and minus frames in cities :/

Perhaps you could try editing your MaxFramesAhead in your arma2.cfg file? GPU_DetectedFramesAhead="1"; GPU_MaxFramesAhead="1"; forgive me if this is the incorrect way to modify the file

I would say ~10 - 20 on low. Maybe. FPS in the wilderness could be around 40 - 50+, FPS in cities could drop to ~30, and in forests about the same. On high settings (aa and ppe disabled.) I don't think so, your CPU is very weak, and that will hinder you in this game.

No. Night in reality isn't pitch darkness, unless you are in a building or something. Theres a picture going around somewhere of night, and then night with some better colours, I think that should be fixed.
