No, this would be painfully annoying. I would rage quit if I had to put up with the slow swinging of a hatchet, that isn't there, or giggling at someones back (which, by the way, makes no sense). Nope -

You don't have to install them, I assume you are talking about Namalsk and Tavania etc? Only install them if you want to play on that map. -

Well first of all, if you are using PlayWithSix, scrap it and use DayZCommander. It is much easier to use IMO. Then all you have to do is click on a server (preferably with low ping, anything over 200 gets laggy) and you're off!

So what happens when you are handcuffed, the kidnapper has left you there, and you have no keys? You're fucked? You get the super-fun oppurtunity to sit there and die of starvation/dehydration. -
I agree on the 1st option, right now it takes me too long to swap over to a silent melee weapon to deal with some zombies.

Nahh, guys. Come on, this would ruin immersion. It would ruin MY ASS. Is there actually any reason not to punch, sure it should only have a 2% chance of knocking someone out, but make it like a throwing item, the longer you hold in the mouse button, the harder you punch, increasing the possibility of a knockout. Are Chernarus-ians incapable of using their hands?

At the moment there is only heli-crash sites, which drop rare, end-game equipment. So I think there should be some different types of crash sites: Military, civilian, cargo Military: These would be helicopters (UH-60s, Hueys, Hinds, Ka-52s) and planes (C-130s, F35s, Su-25s) that obviously, have crashed, leaving behind weapons, ammo, grenades and other military items. There should also be removable ammo for the side mounted weapons. The fixed wing aircraft wouldn't have as much loot, but would carry a assualt rifle or submachine gun such as a MP5 or M16. There will also be much stronger and faster zombies (between 4-10) roaming these areas. Civilian: Civilian crash sites have civilian aircraft (Cessna, airliners etc) and would drop random loot and clothing. There would also be some food scattered around. These would have normal zombies (10+) walking around it. Cargo: These sites would have military cargo planes (C130s, UH-60s) that were carrying supply crates to survivors, but have crashed along the way. They would have a lot of food and beverages. They would also have a small chance of clothing or other random loot. There would be normal zombies (10+) as well as 1 or 2 stronger zombies guarding these. Crash sites should have pilots still strapped in their seats, or blood trails leading to a corpse with zombies feasting on it. There should also be only 2 heli crashes and 1 plane crash of any type on the server, but upon server restart, they change location. Thanks, tell me what you think.

I agree with the idea of more evidence of a zombie apocalypse, the idea that everyone got fucked before they had a chance to escape. There needs to be more mass graves, body bags out the front of hospitals, blood trails leading to a corpse. Maybe even a short loop on TV screens, saying something like 'National Emergency! Please head to the nearest dock/airport immediately!'

Harro... Pretty simple, everytime I click on the DayZ icon it says 'Failed to start game. (Missing executable.)' Is it because I don't own the steam version of ArmA? Or I haven't installed it? Please help. Thanks

Wait a minute wait a minute. You are SUGGESTING, that they IMPLEMENT a CHEWING MINI-GAME? Sir, are you, out of your mind? Or, maybe on some form of medication? I am sorry, but this takes the cake as the worst suggestion I have ever seen on the forums. -
There is an app for the iPod called DayZ explorer that shows all weapons, vehicles and loot in the game as well as the rarity and uses.

I know I'm not, but once again, what I was saying, (and I'm not trying to be a dick) was that the first post that he made, had no grammar or paragraphs. It was messy, hard to read and looked rushed. He has fixed it now, and it is much better. I'm sorry if I acted like a male genitalia before.

DayZ standalone suggestion: No escape from night. No time shifting and serverhopping. Permanent time offset.

I would agree with this as long as the stupid flashlight becomes more efficient. Its so shaky and uncontrollable. There also should be some light from the moon, so it isn't pitch black and unplayable.
