ArmA is a military simulator, it simulates real life ballistics and weapons. Call of Duty is a piece of cat shit game. It is meant for having fun without trying too hard, as well as L4D and CS, but they don't suck. Putting their style of action into DayZ would be a very bad idea.

Either make night actually playable: ie, A bit brighter depending on the moon. Because right now I logout every time it turns night, I just can't stand it. OR Make the flashlight a bit better: ie, Not seizure inducing shaking when running, is it that hard to hold it still? You guys want cross hairs and HUD removed and pooping and diseases included because its realistic. Well this flashlight isn't the most realistic thing, and it should be improved.

My (now deceased) computer ran ArmA 2 and DayZ at about 25 - 30 fps and that was a horrible computer. It ran ArmA 1 at about 80fps, but who'd wanna play that?

I meant that once you spawn, you have to travel at least 3km before you can kill yourself. That would mean they could of already found some decent stuff and decide they want to keep playing.

How long after you spawn? You could be cold, or out of breath from running, or you were in pain/exhausted when you left the server, and when you logged back in your still in the same state.
