An SSD is pretty much a hard drive but has no moving parts, no spinning disc inside which means everything that is stored on it loads / runs much faster. The lack of a dedicated GPU will really set you back, everything else is fine. I would say <20 on low.

The GPU could do with an upgrade, other than that, you should get 30+ on high with a decent GPU.

1- I'm pretty sure thats being fixed in the SA. They won't be able to run through doors, knock you out in one hit etc. 2- I find stuff just fine. I had a M4A1, a backpack, food and water, some medical supplies last time I played. The problem is people spawn in Kamenka, run through the town looking for loot, find none, and then whinge about it on the forums. However I think a big problem with the loot is that it is very limited as in where it can spawn. There aren't that many enterable buildings in Chernarus, and you might get 4 -5 loot piles in a entire house. The SA will have loads more enterable buildings, and many more locations for loot to spawn: On tables, under beds / drawers, on shelves etc... 3- *facepalm* not this again. Don't attract attention, and it won't happen. New players are just going to have to practice. You can't spawn them in with a M16, an ALICE pack and food supplies so that they can 'get used to it.' The first few times I played, all I did was die. Die. And die again. Hell, I still die on a daily basis now! You just have to keep at it, keep going, and eventually you'll get much better, get a little further, get some more loot every time you play.

I do that sometimes, people in side chat saying "Yeah man, thats me on the elektro firestation" then I'll say "Hey guy on the Elektro firestation! You've got a DMR on your head, drop all your loot and turn around or you're dead!" Anywho, maybe he misunderstood where you were supposed meet up?

I don't really like it. With all the other realistic things in the game, why would medical things start to hurt you? Last time I checked, I don't get 'injured' when drinking a coffee, nor do I feel more awake when I eat a lemon....

30+ on high. That GPU is really limiting you, swap it out for something stronger like a 660ti or 7870. No sorry, CPU is too weak and intergrated GPUs will run like balls with this game.

1- NEVER download anything claiming to boost peformance. 2- See no.1. 3- See no.2. You'll have to re-buy ArmA II.

I thought rocket already confirmed suicide in the SA? You select a loaded weapon and choose 'Commit suicide' and then a message appears saying 'Are you sure?' > Yes *splat*...

Dude, stop polluting the forums with garbage. Stop dicking around on the forums telling people not to buy / play this game. If its not working, go away and find a fix. I, like nearly every person on the forum can play the game fine. If you can't help the guy, go away.

1- Because deer stands shouldn't have M4s and AKs spawning at them. They are better suited to spawn civilian grade 'lot'. 2- More than likely someone has already looted it. 3- You are complaining after finding 2 antibiotics? You realise people are giving away pretty good stuff just for some antibiotics? There is a shortage in the medic clans becayse they are so rare. Don't run out into the middle of cities, look around for a bit, decide where to go, and don't dick around in there. 4- That is a bug, I'm pretty sure they fixed it. (?) 5- 'Tons of antibiotics' Would you like to spawn with 5 antibiotics, a FN-FAL, a M9SD, some beans, water, morphine, ammo, some helis and a car or two. DayZ is meant to be unforgiving and difficult. Funny, I don't think anyone else is having that problem. Even when errors do pop up, I usually g000gle it and find a fix. I don't come onto forums bitching about it even when the game is in fucking ALPHA, and is a MOD for an ALREADY GLITCHY, UNOPTIMIZED GAME.

CPU is too slow, I would say <20 on normal. Easily, 40+ on very high. Swap the 610 out for at least 650. Pentiums are very old, I don't know if they'll run OK, GPU is fine but the RAM and OS should be upgraded. I've heard upgrading RAM can add up to 10 - 15 frames when playing.

Watch out guys, we've got a badass over here! It was a simple picture, settle down. No need to get angry over it. On-topic: I agree with basically everything, except the flashlight. I don't think you should be able to use another item whilst using the light. Flashlight should be seperate. I do think it needs to be fixed, so that it doesn't shake around so annoying-ly.

I ran towards a zombie thinking it was a survivor...and basically, I was eaten by 76,000 zombies. After that I found a hatchet, and hid in bushes thinking someone was shooting at me when I used it.

A CPU with at least 3.0GHz of clock speed. A motherboard that supports your CPU, RAM, GPU etc etc 8GB of RAM is ideal. A newer GPU model: (7770+ / 650ti+) Any amount of HDD space, of course having 32GB is kinda useless, unless its an SSD. That would run just about anything on the market at decent quality at decent frames.

ArmA II armory and editor. Just keep at it, try shooting with a large variety of weapons...Makarov to M240 to Mk19. Shoot at things from 2m away, and then at things from 200m away. Shoot at big things, shoot at small things. You'll get the hang of it soon enough.

mZLY, I think you should add something to the first post, telling people how to ask, how to ask for custom built parts etc Something like: When asking for help, set your post out like this: CPU: *cpu name* Motherboard: *mobo name* RAM: *ram* etc etc etc And when asking for advice on custom built parts and building computers please include the country you live in to help find proper prices, whats available there...also the price range. eg I'm looking for advice on building a computer / I'm looking for advice on parts for a computer. My price range is $whatever - $whatever and I live in *residence* Just a thought, I think it will make helping people a lot easier and tidier.
