Maybe less.

Eh, somehow I don't like the whole idea of it coming to this because of a war. Maybe a freak accident at one of those labs where they keep the smallpox virus and all those other nasty things? Someone forgot to decontaminate themselves and then BOOM! There goes your happy day.

Definetely not in cities, forests it may drop to ~30 FPS, but everywhere inbetween you should be getting around 40fps+
-
An easy 40+ on high.
-
Seems good, should do 30+ fps on normal - high. The GPU could do with an upgrade, that would boost your frames. if thats not an option, set everything to normal and disable AA and PPE. (Also turn off 'object detail', it does nothing really.) Pretty much everything, CPU is very slow, GPU is very old, very small amount of RAM... CPU should be at least 3.0GHz with 4 cores, GPU should be GeForce 650 or better / Radeon 7750 or better. 8 gigabytes of RAM is ideal, along with a 64bit operating system.

I figured it out (release date of SA)

What about me? I'll be too busy playing Battlefield 4! -
'Leveling the playing field' means that someone is going to need a $1500 computer to run the game. You're being selfish. I don't even think players show up if your view distance is set to low. They sort of 'melt' into the landscape.
-
Again, that is pretty much 'play like me or gtfo'.
-
Nothing is wrong with my computer, I run everything on very high (aa off of course), and view distance on default and get around 40 - 50 fps. No. What you are saying is 'play on very high or gtfo'. Not gonna happen, alot of people don't have the money to buy a computer that will do that. Having grass render at higher distances will probably have an effect on everyones computer.
-
I'm not too sure how well ArmA II likes the 6300s 6 core design.
-
So that will mean people with low-end computers will now have to struggle with bad frame rates because of the grass?
-
There might be alot to to choose from, but there is only a section of that that is worth using. Aim for at least this in your build: 3.0GHz+ CPU speed 8GB 1600MHz RAM Nvidia 650 GPU or better / AMD 7770 or better And a 64bit OS. 32bit cuts your RAM down and isn't compatible wiyh a lot of applications.
-
Have you ran the game once before you tried to play?
-
Your ArmA II version should already be fully updated (1.62 I believe Operation Arrowhead is up to) if you are using Steam. To update DayZ itself, start by downloading DayZCommander, it is far superior to PlayWithSIX IMO. There you can click on the 'install & update' tab in the top right hand corner. The current version is 1.8.0.3.

idk where you are from, but here is a build from the US. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1RMmk Unfortunately, the best I could get whilst still meeting your requirements, was about $40 over your budget. (if you live somewhere that isn't the US, just change the country in the top right hand corner :))

You can even get an DayZ app that has loot spawns on it. Bean coast or something...
-
First thing I see is '$50 dollars' and 'PayPal' Instant NOPE. This is exactly what WarZ did, and that was really stupid. Also having bonuses and upgrades just because the gun is golden? No thanks.

You can hold objects in your hand already, if that's what you meant. You can just drop the item into your 'holding' slot, and it doesn't go into your inventory.

Some Reasons Why I would like Offline SP In The Standalone.
dulix11 replied to King of kong's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Exactly the same here (check my sig). My parents aren't even the slightest bit interested in computers or internet, and get angry if the internet runs out :( *hugs kong* its ok.....its ok....*sniff* But while I do somewhat agree with the idea, I don't think I'd get the same feeling out of SP than MP. -
AMD Volcanic Island GPU release.

Would it be worth getting a 770 over a 780, or should I wait until Maxwell is released? The 770 is much less expensive where I am, around ~$500 as compared to the 780 ~$800 - $900. I thought about Maxwell, but thats later on next year.... -
Aye, that is a good build, but he could save an extra ~$100 - $150 on the CPU. OP, do you intend to record with this build? If not, then that CPU is overkill. 3570k or 2500k are great choices for gaming solely.
-
You don't have any filters on or anything? Internet connection is working?
-
First build is better. 30+ on high.
-
The .50 calibre rifles were unrealistic and OP is every way. When and where on earth would a average civilian manage to find and operate a weapon like an AS50 / M107 without breaking his arm upon usage?
-
CPU is quite slow, and laptops have a really bad time with ArmA II. If you manage to play, expect low FPS and lots of heat issues. Sorry! Like I said above, everything is slightly better, but even on low settings it may struggle. Looks fine, you'll should be getting 40+ on high. Looks OK, but Xeon CPUs are usually used as server chips and I don't know exactly how they perform when gaming. If everything does check out, you could be getting ~30+ on normal - high.
