If you close your game during the "Loading" screen after you joined the server you will be spawned on the beach with all your stuff.

You can see your VAC status anytime and you are informed on which games you are banned, so you know what's happening before you buy a new game via Steam. And the GUID is not what you think it is.

Fnially, I started to think I was the only one who doesn't get killed of by some hacker every ten seconds. Last time I saw one was a few weeks ago and he didn't do anything but teleport me around a bit, I even ended up at the same location as before.

It's up to you, but I personally don't like the private hive thingies. Either we go private or just pick a random almost-empty server with decent ping, just not an already populated one.

Exactly, that's why I'm not really terrified by people with AS50s. From a balancing stand point it's not that bad either, during the day the rarest weapons (the .50 cals) are the most powerful for long-range engagements, while another rare weapon (the svd) allows for more stealth. As soon as it's getting dark, the rather common DMR is suddenly more useful than any of the fancy sniper rifles, while the close to mid range weapons don't lose any effectiveness. And don't forget about the inventory space, which isn't endless, so if you are running around with an AS50 and another backup weapon for the night, you won't have that much space for meds, food and water. The only "problem" is that the AS50s are rather common thanks to duping, but they're still useless in the dark.

Well, think about any sniper encounter during night time, the AS50 is pretty much useless if there's not enough light.

Well, I'd say Dr. Wastelands team are certainly something different, but I see your point. So you are one of ? :P So you're not rally better than us, just on the other side of the law, I can live with that. I hope to shoot see some of you in-game, at least the survivors aren't completely pussified.

But the rest of the quoted stuff is KOS, and the big backpacks are for "further investigation", which can end in KOS for quite some reasons. I still don't see why this is the protection the poor survivors need from the evil bandit overlords. Seems to me they're basically the same, just switch "give me your stuff" for "are you friendly" and you could apply most of those "RoE" to most of the bandit groups out there. But like I said, do you stuff and pretend to be a police, as long as you kill some of the sniper hill guys, it's good by me.

Oh, I must have misunderstood the underlined "kill on sight" as an instruction to kill on sight, sorry for that. Also, the Police normally doesn't get involved in landscapes where only heavily armed criminals are running around. And the Military kills people who are a threat, which is exactly what people are complaining about on the forum. So I guess we're now military bandits? Or maybe KOS is just an appropriate reaction for heavily armed strangers, but who would know that.

I like the general idea of this kind of group, just because I'm tired of carebears and some opposition for bandits is actually welcome. But geez guys, at least us bandits openly admit to just shoot everybody who has valuable stuff and don't make up some strange "rules" about why we shoot the guy or not.

That is completely wrong. PB doesn't host any stats for games, if you refer to BF3 for example, DICE has its own "Anti Cheat Team" which resets your stats if you were stats padding. If PB detects a hack, you get a delayed global ban. And sometimes you get banned if you have the Steam overlay active, but that's a secret.
