Would you Abort if in Danger of death?

Combat logging is pointless, anyone who does so to avoid zombies or players is a coward period there are no if, ands, or buts about it. My team and I have never combat logged the whole time we've played (aside from confirmed hackers of course). if they did i would kill them myself and hide their corpse the second they logged back in. when your pinned down out numbered, your friends bleeding and dieing all around you and knowing that you wont make it out alive have been some of the funnest times i've ever had in this game or any other. story time inc ... my team went into cherno to get medical supplies, we approached the east side to hit the tents and maybe find some ammo in the military tents. coming up on the end of the night we got careless and approached before our overwatch was at his F.F.P., we crossed the field and just as we reached the tents BLAM i eat a round and fall unconscious, luckly i collapsed behind a peice of wall. The second i get hit a five man group ambushes the rest of my team. all i hear is about 15 seconds of gunfire from all around freindly and hostile, then "IM HIT, "IM DOWN", "IM DEAD" and our overwatch begins to open up with a .50 then he is killed by what i assume was the same sniper that hit me. I wake up and band aid my self, i shout into vent "who's up?" ..... nothing but silence. "we're all dead bro but we got 2 of them". my leg is broke with out morphine and im at about 3-4k blood, and only 17 rounds left in my rifle. our ambushers run up and begin looting and I dump rounds into the first person around the corner. his corpse falls pretty much ontop of me and i quickly loot his SAW and some belts, the remaining 2 attempt to flank me and i cut them down. I crawl back to the first dude i killed after i got up and loot some morphine and check his pack. I score a M24 outta his bag and move south using the wall as cover and scan roof tops looking for the sniper, i spot him ontop of the silo's. I step out and he sees me we both fire his round lands low, I plant 1 right in his brain box. my team then returns and loots their gear back with out incident and we call it a night. At no point after the first shot did I even entertain the notion that I would survive that. TL:DR wounded, crippled, outta ammo, and pinned down by automatic weapon and sniper fire took out a 3 man team and sniper overwatch solo instead of combat logging like a bitch. IF YOU COMBAT LOG AT THE FIRST SIGNS OF DANGER ALL YOUR PLAYING IS A JUNK COLLECTING JOGGING SIMULATOR.

    HAX EVERYWHERE! Officially unplayable

posted in a different thread about this not to long ago ill paste it here as it contains an interesting experiment it did. "Over the past couple of weeks it has gotten really bad with hackers, hopefully you will stick it out as it seems that battleye is atleast trying to get shit together. but with that said I have seen more hackers in Dayz then i have in the entire rest of my gaming carrer combined (roughly 25 years of gaming from consoles to PC). Infact a couple of days ago I actually did what I guess you could call an experiment. after my team logged out for the night and being freshly killed in a legit fire fight, I decided to see how bad it really was. I made it a point to join ONLY servers that where near full and see how many hackers I ran into. Over the course of about 2 1/2 to 3 hours I encountered hackers roughly every 15-45 min's. after each encounter I would change my IGN and change servers, it got to the point that i couldnt even make it to cherno or elektro to gather basic supplies before I got killed. Infact the only time I actually made to a major city was the last run before i logged out that night. but even then I made it to cherno and it was full of busses; there was busses on the silo's, on the factory, some on the fire station and probably about 25-50 just laying around town. now given this is over the course of only 1 night, and alot of it could be writen off as bad luck. Its still pretty bad, over the course of an average day we can usually plan on seeing at least 1 hacker a day. most are fairly uneventfull, hacked weapons and vehicles mostly but they're around." I too have got to the point where I just dont bother actually playing anymore i just run around and shoot people till i get killed by a hacker. happens everyday to me and my team. maybe we're just super unlucky but recently even low pop servers are getting hit left and right. was just on a 6, yes thats right SIX person server that got hit with a kill script. I always change servers and my IGN doesnt seem to matter, but im pretty sure im not being targeted. another thing ive noticed is the US and russian servers seem to have it really bad. so it may be a region thing.

3 hacked games wtf is this garbage?

Over the past couple of weeks it has gotten really bad with hackers, hopefully you will stick it out as it seems that battleye is atleast trying to get shit together. but with that said I have seen more hackers in Dayz then i have in the entire rest of my gaming carrer combined (roughly 25 years of gaming from consoles to PC). 4. alot of it is do to working with a group, and haveing transportation. My group and I have like x5 of pretty much everything in game but the m136 (oh how you elude me *shakes fist*). doing loot runs in something like a chopper or ural makes everything like 100x easier, you can hit all the major loot spawns in like less then an hour. plus you dont have to worry about what to carry and what to leave behind, as you just take everything and dump it in the truck. but we're also a bandit group so we get alot of loot from dead bodies too. funny story, when we get bored we usally dump everything in one of our tents (and i do mean everything, all weapons, backpacks, tools, etc) run into cherno basicly naked and in like 1/2 hour to a hour we all have coyote backpacks, assualt weapons or sniper rifles and loaded up with tools like GPS's, NVG's, rangefinders, etc. just from killing people around town (mostly snipers as they seem to have the best gear). you would be suprised at how much damage 3-5 people with macoroni pistols can do :P On a side note, we all play legit no duping, hacking, exploiting etc. with the amount of gear we get in a usual day its not needed. edit: i r gud speller
  5. lol, gotta a good chuckle outta the OP. but more to the point, what you might think of as "spawn killing" is almost always avoidable. I've been playing for several hundred hours and have never once been "spawn killed" (i.e spawning into getting shot), its almost always a fresh spawn running to a high risk area like cherno, elektro, or the bolata airfield. If my group enters an area to loot, we control that area till we leave (usally about 3-7+ of us, including overwatch). Our rule of engagement are now to kill anything that moves, now we don't do this to be dicks. if we kill a fresh spawn its more of a "in the wrong place at the wrong time kinda thing". At one time we would attempt to loot area's quitely and get out with as little voilence as possbile, but to many times have we let people go only to have them come running at us flailing an enfield in the air firing wildly >5 min's later (we have lost people to this as well). In fact several times we have had axe weilding nut jobs try to run us down, and let me tell you running at 5 men armed with automatic weapons with an axe is not a good idea. basicly what im trying to say is that it isnt always out of malice, but rather self preservation. Stop the problem before it becomes a problem. If you what to avoid getting killed quickly dont run straight into hotspots, or if you do don't complain when you get lit-up. just a freindly PSA from the guy that shot you in your brain-box. :)
  6. As others have said i think its mostly a duping problem, rather then an inflation problem. but i do believe i seen a post saying that duping methods are being worked on and should be fixed soon.
