And this is why douches play this game. I don't agree with Alt F4 but if someone wants to play the game for what Rocket claims it is, you know... a survivor game, and doesn't want to death match with people (or doesn't have the ability to because they have no weapon) then they have the option to log out of a server where they're being stalked by another player and logging into a different server. That's how this game is made. Also there will be some major priority issues for this game if people start getting banned for avoiding fire fights before hackers, dups, ghosting and other more serious issues are taken care of. Take away hacking and dups and the majority of the griefing losers won't have inifinite amounts of ammo to sit on hill sides and snipe new players.

Just pointing out that there is no 'rule' stating you have to stay in a fire fight until either you or your opponent dies. If someone gets away from you, like the OP did in the beginning of his post and then logs to avoid further fire fights, then thats hardly abusing a game mechanic. Alt F4'ing is cheap, I'm just pointing out that the dude could have logged or been in the process of logging when the OP missed his first shot.

... He was saying that they Ghosted. You know, the term used to reference when someone logs off of a server during a fire fight, logs into a DIFFERENT server, moves to an advantageous position, then logs out of that server and connects back to the server where the fire fight is going on.

Just food for thought, but if you missed its not necessarily true that he alt f4'd. He could have aborted from the game normally. Why would you sit on top of a tower in a ghillie suit to begin with?... Also, just because he left the server doesn't mean that he Alt F4'd. If you missed he could have left the legitimate way, through disconnecting.

I can top the OP's story. I was once gearing up in Elektro when I saw some hacker spawned Paratrooper Cows. I was like 'WTF - Flying cows?!' Next I hear a helicopter and guns blazing. I ducked into a building and got to a window just in time to see a cow super man itself into the rotors of the helicopter. The sky exploded in red gore as raw meat started raining down on Elektro. I think at least one sniper on the hill got killed in the fallout that followed but its all good, everyone in Elektro ate well that day. No joke, I got it on stream. I'll edit the video and post it on youtube... "soon" *wink wink*

If you don't have an instance ID yet I don't believe the server will start correctly. The instance ID (As I understand it) links your server to the HIVE and comes directly from the dev team. Might want to contact Vilayer about the instance ID? Its possible they haven't received one or just haven't updated the files yet.

You can't be positive they couldn't see you. Just because you can't see them doesn't make it that they can't see you. Common fallacy. Also, some guns will actually punch through walls/windows/tents and so on. Oops... maybe I shouldn't have made that well known... -.- In fact, although I have never personally used it, the Thermal AS50 could possibly punch through the sides of some buildings (guard sheds, some houses, definitly tents). The thermal just makes it easier for them to find you.

To the OP: Are they really victims if you fired in self defense? And if they are victims and you plan to murder others who may not shoot first you may want to move over to the Bandit HQ. Except... you're in the Survivor's HQ....

If he is actually hacking, you can report his Twitch.tv user to twitch.tv and they'll look into/close his account as streaming cheats/hacks are against their ToS.

You'll be dead soon enough, and someone will just continue the cycle. Also, PDW is only silenced if you have silenced ammo. Hmm... maybe I shouldn't have said anything... would have been amusing to think you were going around believing it was silenced only to get mawed by zeds...

Are you sure its wire fencing? I've never had wire fencing do this to me, but the dead soldier bodies do it. Not the soldier Zeds that spawn and die, but the bodies already littering places like Stary military camp and thr various airfields.

Any of the hospital sites. Cherno or Elektro. They're super rare though. A medic may have some and be around you guys.

Last night while playing and looking for a low pop server to start off on, I kept getting kicked for no reason. I would get into the game, move into Elektro to start gearing up and then get kicked. Was really frustrating. I wish the Dev team had the balls to back up their own server rules, but I don't feel like taking the time to report all of these abusers just to have my time wasted because no action would be taken.

I looted the school and konbini in Elektro several times once, found about 20 compasses and not a single map. :(

The batdogs take the loot up there away from survivors and bandits alike!

One of the first things I do before heading out into the woods is hit up a hospital and grab at least 3-4 morphine. :x All it takes is one random zed or twig to ruin my day without it.
