So you're angry because this dude is really popular and some hacker was playing with him, giving him gear, spawning vehicles into the game for him and he has a huge audience and people watch his channel. Then because you're so angry you report him and HELP him influence even more people who potentially don't even know who this guy is - like me - and spread the word of hacking even FURTHER than what he originally did. *nods* *nods* mhmm I understand... By your own definition you should be banned as well for promoting and spreading the word of hackers to more audiences. Edit: You can also tell this guy is new or doesn't play often, cause he doesn't even realize he can drop the nvgs. Unless he's playing REALLY stupid on his own channel... and for some reason I don't think thats the case. You know... you're kind of pathetic. Misquoting people is possibly worse than hacking imho... at least as bad. For anyone who actually wants to HEAR what Seananners really says, start at 15:39 and listen until the end. I chose 15:39 because its another part of the video which shows off how newb he was.

Did you even watch the video? He never validates hacking. He took the hacker pretty light heartedly, got excited about a helicopter and wanting to learn to fly it, and then followed the instruction of one of his close buds to break ties with the scripter... I'm very anti hacking and have never seen this guy because I don't frequent YouTube, but you're over reacting and going after the wrong guy imho. You're kind of coming off as a pretty big hater actually and skewing the video to support your hate. Anyone who watches the video will see that this Seananners guy is pretty new to the game, got excited at being able to fly a helicopter, and in the end turned down the hacked items because he likes the game too much and respects his friends opinion.

Were you banned from a server? Or Global BattleEye Banned? Have you tried logging into another server?

I'm not sure about their "A game" but its good to see they're at least back IN the game... PS - Do global bans bring our "Unique Player" count down? :P

You're saying hosting companies don't have the ability to shutdown servers running on their hardware and format the drive it was installed on?

I've gotten this several times on random servers I've tried playing on... I usually just don't go back to that server because its fishy...

As someone who might start paying money to host their own server, I'd want my server hacker free regardless of whether other players are paying me or not. Also, isn't it BattleEye's job to keep hackers out? ... I mean if BattleEye isn't looking out for cheaters/scripters/hackers then what IS BattleEye doing besides being a waste of space/resources?

Maybe the hosting company, upon not receiving monies, wiped his server and closed it down? After figuring out the financial issues, they rebuilt the server anew?

Unless your server is not on the HIVE, in which case you shouldn't be posting about it here, then you can't take away items people have on their characters afaik. - Misleading Title! :D

First - BattleEye is separate from DayZ and issues 'Global Bans' to people who cheat, which then makes that person unable to join any game that has BattleEye enabled regardless of its a private server or not. Second - Private servers are against the server hosting rules set forth by the Dev team. Lastly - I'm not sure buying a new account works for getting around the Global Ban. Have you uninstalled ArmA 2 and all of its expansions and installed it using the new game?

I'll have to keep this in mind next time I'm at a chopper crash. The thing that annoys me the most about these is the ridiculous respawn time on the zeds. I can only get to 1-3 loot spots before they respawn on me.

Nothing you can really do. Well... avoid high population servers as they seem to be the juicier targets for hackers. As for your gear, nothing... but to gear back up.

That's how I feel as well. I usually don't start anything though. If I see other players I usually end up heading the opposite direction, even if it throws me off the path to where I was heading.

To avoid DEATH. Not fire fights. Pretty open to interpretation. Obviously when I'm in the open and get fired on/hit with bullets, alt f4ing to avoid dying falls under this. If I'm in an area with cover (buildings, walls, whatever) and someone takes a pop shot at me and misses and I get to cover and take no damage - NOT avoiding death by logging out without the use of Alt F4. Also - I don't alt f4 - DayZ Dan can vouch for this as he's killed me before.
