I am sorry if this is the wrong section. But I want to report a server that is charging real money to use the ingame trader. It is a Chinese server (114.67.177.204:2333). They ask you to exchange real money over Wechat to obtain in-game currency to use at the trader (based inside the TV tower entrance on Green Mtn). This is the ONLY way to use the trader as no money spawns in game, and you can't sell stuff at the trader, only purchase. The Admin told me that you can buy currency at a 1 to 1 ration - ie you can buy 1 ruble for 1 RMB. A car costs 150 rubles. That would mean paying the equivalent of $22.81 USD !! That's INSANE !!!! I am not familiar with BIS terms of service, and I could very well be wrong, but I feel that this, if not against the terms, is definitely against the community's interests.

This is not a vanilla server, and I can't find out the server provider. but associating Bohemia products with geographical targeting based upon race (It says "players from China", not "Chinese IP addresses") impugns upon it's good name. I followed your extremely straightforward instructions. But how do I get it to use the Steam Browser inside the game ? It has a big GAMESPY logo in the top right. I looked on Reddit, they said there should be somewhere really obvious to click and change from Gamespy to STEAM. Damned if I can see it ?

I watched a video on Youtube showing how the blood test kit is supposed to work. However, when I tried it, it only shows the first stage, it doesn't get to the price your finger part - the important bit, it just exists the gear screen. Am I missing something or is it broken ?

The more I play it, the more I like it. I haven't played Vanilla in years too. Afew things...... - The zeds often seem to hit you when they are way, way out of arms reach. They often hit you without playing an attack animation, especially when running. - The food system, I can't say as I understand it ? I died of starvation because the game said I was too full to eat and spat my food out. IE I had gorged old Dayz style earlier in the game, consequently the game refused to let me eat any more, and my plate icon eventually emptied and I died (despite being "too full to eat"). - When you faint / pass out and come round and you have a melee weapon or crossbow then you have to tolerate the long, long animation from empty hands to weapon in hands, which is certain death if zeds are around. - Chopping small pine trees and cancelling after first pile sometimes leaves said pile unselectable because it's inside the radius of the branches. - Can't seem to chop trees down with axe in hand as a melee weapon (perhaps this was never a feature though ?) - What use is the PVC box ? Sheet Music ? Blank Paper ? - Machete / Bat / Axe range seems a tad too short range given the zeds speed and strength - Recombining crossbow quivers forces you to reload (doesn't make sense because the loaded bolt is not in the quiver, it's in the crossbow) - Can't cut wood into crossbow bolts (maybe i'm getting confused with Origins or something here though ?)

Can I ask, what is Bohemia's solution to this disaster of disasters ? 31st May has come and gone and BIS have not released a browser app to allow us to find and connect to Dayz Mod servers. Is their 'solution' to use the heinous in-game browser to find servers ? This would be a rubbish solution because after you have found a server you want to play, you will have to EXIT out of the game and re-load it with the correct mod= parameters every single time you casually browser for servers. Not to mention (unless they have updated it since yesterday when I looked) the FILTER and Game Type options are irrelevant to Dayz. There would seem to be no way to filter out say, the 2500 Epoch servers to find an Overwatch server. This whole 'solution' is just too horrible to contemplate. With all BIS's millions (thanks to Dayz SA and Arma 2 sales due to Dayz Mod), they could at the very least set up a Dayz Hub (or whatever you would call such a thing) to replace the Gamespy one and allow us to find servers. Instead they are blowing it on silly competitions like - Win a holiday to a War Zone ! Or a Dayz Commander replacement that will read the Steam Server list. I asked all of this on BIS forums, and noone knew.

I don't know if this is server specific ? I am playing on "Fix's Testing Server" at night and whenever I go into a forest the screen turns completely black - COMPLETELY black - even with Gamma maxed out, even with a flare lit, you can see NOTHING ! And to make matters worse you stumble and fall over every few metres (!) Is there any way to turn this abomination of a 'feature' off ? Have to say, Epoch looks great on paper, but after playing it I have to say it is a horrible, broken, bugged mess.

Has the team announced exactly what tweaks they are making to the infected in the hotfix ? (I don't want to search through the 43 pages of this thread)

Cant you limit zombie spawn numbers to be related to the total number of residential buildings in the immediate area? It is 'unrealistic' to have so many more zeds than there were originally dwellings for before the outbreak.

Today, 04:31AM Got to say alot of our player base are very unhappy wit h the patch, Zombies glitching right left and centre, pla yers getting stuck in debug and then losing all their ge ar. The zombies attacking the vehicles and hurting player s yeah i like that and it makes things a hell of alot toug her but the amount of problems we have received mak es it a tough decision to keep this patch or roll back.... tl;dr, Far too many glitches and a wealth of unhappy pl ayers on our database....

Are there any servers yet ? DZC doesn't list a single server for me, not even one with a 10,000 ping.

Is the use of Repair and Refuel trucks limited to 1 use every x minutes ? That's how it works for me, I can only use my 2 trucks 1 time each before the mouse option no longer appears. Also, does the Repair Truck work on helicopters ? I've never got it to work.
