Was your server hacked recently? High-pop servers tend to be hacked, and hacks end up killing a servers population.

Just download Steam, I don't see what your problem is. If you're trying to give it to a friend that won't work, once you log in on one computer it logs the other one off.

I have yet to run into any game-breaking bugs, I've lost tons of vehicles and gear to bugs but nothing I can't get back. As for you not wanting to buy the standalone, that's great news for the community and the development team not having to worry about another idiot who doesn't understand this is in alpha stage.

Okay just found something that makes me exited. http://dayztx.com/dayz-news-standalone-updates/ Under "New Features" there is this: Narrative that will describe the virus background. So I guess we will just have to wait till the standalone and Goof Juice your probably right, it seems very logical. If someone/something attacks me IRL or in-game I will try to fight back and feel no regret from what happens if I succeed.

Worthless post is worthless? I just wanted to know if there was a fix for this or not, no need to come in here and accuse me of something I'm not. :P But I spawn with 0 humanity while everyone else spawns with 2500 seems unfair, but after 30mins-1hour I stay at 0 humanity but turn into a survivor. So I guess since it's still buggy I'll hide under my ghille till it's fixed.

Hackers are script kiddies, 99% of them are prepubescent scrubs while the 1% is people who dress up as Jason and fuck with you, which is fine because they give you a chance to either log or kill them. Exploiters come with every game, they ruin the game for themselves so it's fine. Greifers are just people who are bored from the game and enjoy ruining the experience for others. In the end the game is played for your enjoyment and it sucks people ruin your time for them to have fun, but it is what it is.

Okay so I have a question on humanity and spawning. My friend spawns in hero/survivor skin and I spawn as a bandit, why is this? I would like to know because every time I run anywhere I get KoS/SoS because I have a weapon and a bandit skin and no one gives me a chance. The issue is I either A.) Spawn on a beach with 0 humanity and I'm a bandit for about an hour -OR- B.) I live long enough to get geared and log off for the night and log back in with anywhere from -25k through -50k humanity. So is there a fix for this or will I have to live in my ghille suit forever? P.S. Before anyone says that everyone KoS/SoS your wrong you just must be getting fucked or on a hateful server.

If I was stuck in a zombie apocalypse I would keep a journal that may tell/ give hints of where I stash my stuff. While the curious side of me would try to figure out how the virus started, this could also give me information on how to distract zed or how to kill them easier (ex. Tells me they are attracted to sulfur used in smoke grenades) but of course the example would be something new because I already knew they were attracted to smoke grenades.

If they added in different stories over time and erasing old ones that would be cool, like random events. Lets say someone finds this journal then follows it to the location finds the loot, which could change a residential to a small military loot spawn (ex. retired war vet dies and leaves a journal in Berinzino, but his house is in Prog or something then the house goes from residential to military loot spawn) but when the house is looted by anyone it returns to residential.

It is what it is, next time hide better and they won't see you then you won't have to worry about the whole thing.

Some servers won't allow it, but battle-eye won't ban you for if that's what your asking, or if your talking about server admins then yes you will probably be banned.
