This is a FPS game, and a mod designed to be played as a FPS, not TPS. TPS is nothing short from a cheat allowing you to have an easier game experience.

PDW is the best sidearm, due to three reasons: 1. can load every 9mm clip of the game 2. can unload 30 bullets before reloading 3. can fire auto-mode, which is not something to overlook when your main weapon is a sniper rifle and that you're in a city. Seriously, this isn't a debate. It's a fact. If you think otherwise, you just suck at this game.

This. You've been "I won the lottery the first time I played" lucky so far, by not dying because of one. I agree this sucks for, but really the state of the game is so bad that one cannot expect to have his character survive more than a day without being killed by a cheater.

Hackers are very rapidly killing the mod indeed.

3rd person, really ? Go play My Little Ponies. Real survivors play with zero help. You can check corners with lean. You can find your way with basic map reading skills. And so on. I really hope that the stand alone will chase that kind of "I'm too lazy to get better" behavior.

I would find it highly fun. But it would also be higly illegal, I believe.
