Tell me which is the server man ! : )

So some friends and I have been finding cars and stuff from time to time and we always try to hide them and save them. even on the edge of the map in a forest where noone should be passing when we save a vehicle and log back in 12 hours later, the vehicle is gone. Every time. Same with tents. The tent is not gone, but the stuff inside it dissapears. Srsly what are we doing wrong? Are we not saving properly? And yes we log in the same server.

Here is your fix. Every time you get the graphical glitch, exit the game, replace the anime files with the current version and get in game again. Somehow the game corrupts them after some time so you have to do it like every 4-5 hours or something, if you wanna play around teh glitchy places.

Thing is, I log in a server and everything is great. My friend logs in and has low fps. Same thing happened on another server, but at that time I had the low fps and he had the high.

I know there are a lot of threads about this, but i didn't really found a problem similar to my friend and me. So my game runs smoothly. I dont have a problem with the fps with decent graphic setting. But sometimes when i start the game and log in a server i have only 8-10 fps max which is unplayable. One time i restarted the pc and after that was fixed, the other time it didnt work, so i decided to replace the dayz patch files, just in case the anim files were corrupted or something. It got fixed, but i'm not sure if it was this because... Now my friend is experiencing the same issue and replacing dayz files didn't work for him. We both have good configurations, i got nvidia and he has ati radeon. Yet similar problems. I think it is game related, but i would like to know if someone knows a fix, so we can easily fix it if it happens like we do with the graphic glitch. Thanks in advance!

Omg, this thread is making me scared. So many way to brake your legs and bleed to death. Thumbs up though!

So i'm fairly new to the game, but i've already encountered a few bugs and seeing it's something quite common for this alpha, i would like to get a list of bugs which i should watch out for. Like: 1. Dont drop shit on the ground because it may vanish. (my friend droped a gun on a concrete floor and we never saw it again) 2. If you click to use something and it doesnt work, you are probably desynced or something. I usually log out if that happens. What else that in the bad situation can get you killed?

WORKING FIX! I'm telling you guys. I TRIED EVERYTHING. Flushing in a milion ways, looking not looking, one server another server etc. Trying all the video options etc. I just found this : http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/48646-how-to-revert-to-dayz-1723/ Here i guy gave a zip of the anim files of 1.7.2.3 . I replaced the files of my current version with those and guess what. I dont have the glitch anymore. Just for all you guys that only have the weekends to play and couldnt because of the damn glitch. HERE IS THE FIX FOR YOU :P

Not working, tried it at least a few hundred times. ANYWAY I've tried the fix with the arma 95417 patch and it didnt work also. So now the only thing i haven't tried is to replace some dayz files with the ones from the older patch 1.7.2.3? Please if someone has the old patch, can he share it so we can try this? The game is still unplayable for me and my friends.

Does someone have 1.7.2.3 version files? I wanna try this as a fix, as i've tried everything else and it didn't work. All the links i found so far, have been removed or replaced with the 1.7.2.4 patch.

I got the game 6 days ago just to try out dayz. After 7-8 hours in the game now it's time i get some decent military stuff, but hey... i can't see because of the glitch. I tried all the proposed fixes on the forums. Patched the drives, flushed the memory, touch some dayz files in inappropriate places, everything the community offered and none helped. All the places me and my budy wants to check out are death traps for me with this visual glitch. So just the hotfix devs. The new features can wait as long as we can see ingame again! : )
