You're right it wont happen on regular servers, but probably something you could set up for a PvP server once modding and more server tools arrive.

0.60 was the "FPS update". 0.61 sound and network. Still needs work on both the 0.61 stuff, but it's an improvement so far. Gameplay wise you can pretty much expect the same as 6months ago, so if you did enjoy it then, go for it, if not I'd just wait until Beta tbh.

Just to get it started :) Walking up and down hills, have there been any thoughts about a way to smooth out the transitions between the running and walking speeds? I am basically looking to avoid the serpentine up hill technique we end up using now to get up as fast as possible :) Or would that be more a programing related question?- 86 replies

Make sure you get a decent fan or even better go with a water cooler if you plan to OC. They aren't much more expensive than a good regular fan these days.

Smarter than using a credit card :) You'll probably feel like its a new game if you haven't played in a while. So you got something to look forward to.

While it in the end it is up to us to keep track and free slots, I can't see any major issue with implementing something like this. I especially like the idea of dropping it on purpose to clear the reserved state. I am sort of picturing like a greyed out area in the inventory with a transparent icon for what ever you're currently holding.

Steam reviews gives me concern about the future of the human race... But in the end that system is completely flawed in my eyes. The score is one thing, can give you an idea of a game, but calling most of what's posted there actual reviews is just laughable. If it was up to me I would just delete and re-do the whole system, maybe keep some score system of some sort, but the comments.. Nah. -
I am pretty sure you'll get that once modding comes out. But personally I'll rather take the spawn that I get and stick with it.
