Most of the time it's a server reset. Pay attention to which server you play in and refresh the server when it happens to check whether the server is either up or still has players in it. If not then its a server restart. And if the server doesn't change then it's a problem with you internet. This would be the easiest way of troubleshooting this problem me thinks

That's a bug. Has something to do with dead people logging out. So ya never really know these days. I usually grab anything useful straight away and drop it on the ground so it doesn't disappear on me.

I'm all for this. What DayZ needs is more events like this to keep it interesting. Whether or not it fails is besides the point. I'd be happy to be a guard/sniper in the town. Could be possible to just find 40 trustworthy people and all swarm into one announced server at once. Give or take a few slots to make it interesting ;). I'm in! -

Do some tests with some mates. Get a bunch of helmets and guns and shoot each other/whack each other in the head and see what happens.

Hahaha what?!? No. I never even TRY to get my way. I don't need to. I already have it. The game is nearly perfect how it is. The forum is just filled with a bunch of crying wieners that frustrate me. Always complaining and wanting more more more. My problem is that there is hardly any constructive topics or discussions anymore. It's all complaints and attacks on the dev team. Makes me hate this place.

I love this game. The community in the game is excellent. I dunno what people are doing but about 7/10 people I run into are friendly. And then I blast em in the face and take their beans. It's great! Now the forum community is a different story. You guys fuckin' suck.

STOP comparing Dayz to real life for fucks sake. It's a game... In real life I wouldn't shoot a cop. In GTA I would. In real life I wouldn't choose burglar as my career path. In The Sims I would. In real life I wouldn't kill someone for the clothes they wear. In Dayz, that's exactly what I fucking do. -
