I'm sure there are heaps of players now that don't use teleporting or godmode but just hack their "legitimate gear" in. They can easily rationalise it as not wasting time gathering stuff before they are warped into the sky.. If I wasn't vehemently opposed to hacking of ANY type I would be doing this. devs need to put all other iterations on hold until they have a solution to this problem.
the update has made it heaps easier to kill other survivors they pull all the zombies and you just shoot them while they are busy then do a forest run
the problem is that they are now op in certain situations.. like in buildings that you can't run out of and having to run to the forest every time you get aggro gets old fast also its not worth it to shoot them anymore.. but people LIKE shooting zombies
The update is obviously trying to make them harder (which is good) but it broke them imo You can't make any reliable prediction about whether or not they will aggro anymore and when one does they all do. It would be fine if everyone was a kitted out camping duper but that obviously isn't the case.. it needs to be balanced for newbies I just recommended dayz to some friends and they are going to get slaugtered getting basic stuff now. You should be able to pick off one zombie that is blocking your approach without ALL OF THEM coming at you because you sniped one at distance and you should be able to reliably prone past them at a certain distance otherwise everyone will be sprinting and grabing loot and running back through the forest making tactics like direct assault not viable because of ammo and sneak and search too time consuming making you a massive target for bandits. maybe revert changes but spawn more of them?
yeah zeds are op after the last update they aggro way too easily (even sometimes when proning at distance) and when they do you get the whole town of them coming at ya. I was crouching in an apartment (didn't pull aggro going in) and about 40 of them zerged up the stairs at me blocking any escape, I had to disconnect on the roof. I'm all for making zombies harder than they were, but this is ridiculous to being unplayable.
