I'd be happy with the old system, the entire coast line. Not just spawning from solnichny and above.

You're not supposed to. You've died - supporting that kind of metagaming negates the impact of permadeath. If you manage to get your gear, consider yourself VERY lucky.

We will be supporting passworded servers, but only once we have finalized the way to make characters persistent to only that server. That means when you log in to that community, your character will only be inside that. We are looking at making it possible to restrict to that server, or a subnet of the existing hive that involves many passworded servers.
Will take a little time, though.
Awesome news, personally as a player I had the most fun on private hives. As an admin it was also easier to manage a private server after awhile because you see alot of the same faces over time.

Current server features:

- Optional JSRS & STmovement mods

- .50 cals have been entirely removed from the server

- Custom Skins(over 7 custom solider skins)

I've watched the videos and read most of the thread and all I can say is I am really disappointed. I had a good amount of respect for TLM servers; I run my own of course but I appreciate the work and dedication it takes to run a successful server.
This evidence is pretty much irrefutable though, testing should ONLY be done on a separate locked server. Admins have no need to spawn vehicles, god mode or admin map.
The anti-hax you guys run prevents most hack menus and those it doesn't, those skiddies can easily be caught with spectating players. Obviously though one of your admins shouldn't even be trusted with that based on his attitude and actions.

The rules we enforce on our server are as follows:
24 hours ban & character deletion first offense
A 2nd confirmed offense results in a permanent ban.
If you cannot take the chance of death in DayZ you should not be playing.

If you are using Corsair's CC, its saying that because the config file for the item check does not have them included as lootable items. Players won't get banned by battleye unless they spawned those weapons in.

I had this running on one of my servers and it worked pretty well. Ultimately our players didn't really like it so we removed it but it does have potential for safe zones and such. I may re-introduce it at some point.

Made this post on reddit about this type of server and alot of support was voiced through the discussion so my gaming community: WarMachine Gaming have a launched a new server to accommodate this area of dayz servers that seemed to have vanished with the massive vehicle servers and non stop side chat spam.
- Side chat is disabled
- 3rd person is disabled
- Cross hairs disabled
- Wrecks disabled
- Care Packages disabled
- Default starting loadout
- Heli crashes spawn at server start and loot matches patch 1.7.6.1 loot drops
- Vehicles are at the global hive default numbers and spawn locations
- Day Night Cycle
- Side chat is disabled

Been awhile since I updated this thread so I figured I'd stop in and drop a couple lines.
- Server is up to date DayZ 1.7.6.1
- I have added AI to the map, AI controlled survivors & bandits
- Several new vehicles have been unbanned and added (MH60S & MTVR for example)
- Server population has grown steadily in the past couple weeks avg 23 players nightly
In other news our donation perks are doing well and I can proudly say thanks to our community WarMachine Gaming isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
We have also begun hosting a WasteLand server for Arma 3 Alpha. Looking forward we will be launching more Arma 3 servers, still in the planning stages but we will keep you in the know. Please join our website for all the lastest happenings at WarMachine Gaming

It's amazing how something so trivial turns into a huge deal. Its just some names on cans that you don't even read after the few couples time you find it in game. Everyone that argued about it from reddit or here are equally whiny little brats.
The devs did the work they should have just left it in, people would have forgotten about it by the next devblog about SA.

We have ran multiple instances on that box. Plenty of resources with both servers having 20+ on each. Had Chernarus & namalsk running at the same time for awhile and wasteland for a bit. Eventually to take down wasteland because there wasn't much traffic(to many servers out there nowadays)

I'm not sure what things you have access to using a host like that. But check and see what the vehicle limit is set too, if they are aleady filled up it won't spawn anymore.
