Here is the base I built for my group and this one is already on the server This one is for a group on our server that I am working on putting in today: The only rules I have for the base building is that no Loot spawning buildings can be in your camp. For obvious reasons, plus who wants zombies in their camp.

No news is sometimes good news when it comes to development. One of two things, either he's busy working on it or gave up entirely. I'm going to go with the former.

Are you getting an error? What beta patch are you running? Our server is running 99153 as of late last night. I have begun construction on the first clan camp other than my own, one more lined up after that. However if any clans on the server would like a camp contact me on Teamspeak, warmachine-gaming.teamspeak3.com and we can discuss camp options. I will post an example later this afternoon of what we can build for you. Everyone please upvote this post on reddit so we can get a more robust player base.

Nothing earth shattering but I noticed after the update to 99153 there seems to be alot of entries of banned stuff(characters, vehicles) in the RPT log. I don't remember seeing it there before. Also our server(user id:WMgaming) initially wouldn't let anyone load in even if they updated to 99153 but after I manually restarted the server, seemed to work ok so not sure if any of this would be useful info for you but figured it wouldn't hurt to mention it.

Unfortunately the database was not recovered, happened so quickly I was not able to get the database from the old server. That server is still up however, a good portion of our community has moved over to our server but I am sure some may remain there. My assumption is Justin will keep it up and manage it himself. Sidenote I have gotten all of our custom buildings in so after a restart things will be back to normal for us :)

Ok folks seems we have a small issue. One of our admins, who made the initial purchase of the server was upset by the actions of a specific person on our staff. So instead of speaking to us about it, he changed the passwords and shut down the server. Our group is working on starting up another server since, his name was the only one on the server there is nothing we can do about him locking it down. I just wish he would have spoken to us about it instead of just cutting it off I don't quite understand what his issue was but oh well I will update the thread with our new server info. The database does not lie and all of these fine folks would not praise our server if I was "running players off the server" fyi the reason why teamspeak was empty was because it was damn near 3am where most people log off for the night. Alien lab you only ran into me at that hour was because I was redoing our custom buildings after a server mishap. I explained why you were banned personally and you started insulting myself and my server hence why you were banned from teamspeak. I have no problem discussing bans but I will not tolerate people moaning, crying and just out right raging because I caught you. Get over it, we pay attention to our server and if you spawn weapons equip. vehicles or even use a map hack we will find out eventually and you WILL be banned from our server. We run a private hive and if our staff determines someone is playing unfairly they will no longer be welcome in our community simple as that. I treat everyone I deal with exactly the same, no special treatment or exceptions will come from me.

You don't seem to understand the purpose of gotcha antihacks. What it does it checks the logs against known hacks and kicks/bans players automatically. Logs don't do that, they just "LOG" information that you yourself have to parse through. Gotcha tries to alleviate some of that and does it automatically. It also scans players inventories for hacked weapons which traditionally you would have to check inventories manually on your own. The logs which you are so upset about do none of this. I understand its a pain not to have archived logs sometimes but you are shooting down suggestions when you haven't even taken the time to understand what people are suggesting to you. A side note you are not paying to have logs & hacker prevention. You are paying for them to host a server for you, the administration of the game and hacker prevention is up to you as the admin of your server.

Gotcha you run client side, input your server IP and rcon password. It will parse the logs real time, however you will need to email Dayz.ST to let them know you wish to run gotcha and they will add the 2" you need in your .txt files to allow gotcha to parse your server. Also something you guys may want to look into to combat the script kiddies is this whitelist. This would not be useful for those of you using rmod unless you filter out the weapons you wish to allow. this would be added to the publiceval.txt file. Unfortunately this is something DayZ.ST would have to add for you at this point because we don't have access. I have used this filter on my previous server and it worked wonderfully for spawned in weapons. Running gotcha-anti hax catches a good portion of them. Typically average about 35 players during the day. Hackers have not been that big of a problem in all honesty. The few times where there was a mass teleport or vehicle magnet, data base roll backs that actually work were there to resolve the problem. -

This is exactly right. My group and I requested to have our server terminated immediatly almost 2 weeks ago and the server is still online and we have not recieved any prorated refund. I see it now, they will wait until the billing cycle is up and when we ask for the money that due to us, they will so no money left server was up for the whole cycle. SS staff is knowledagble but they do not know how to run a business what so ever. We are so much happier with DayZ.ST no more of this horrible customer service. -

This. It takes a little trial and error when adding buildings through the database, easier in someways than the editor but positioning can take a few attempts to get it how you want it. If buildings were hacked in they would disappear after a server restart without exception.
