I'm not sure what things you have access to using a host like that. But check and see what the vehicle limit is set too, if they are aleady filled up it won't spawn anymore.

Your welcome to give our server a try. We have 200 vehicles on our hive but honestly its not unrealistic at all. Vehicles are in places that make sense. Choppers are somewhat common but mostly little birds(think of them as news choppers) It works well for us and its alot of fun, we rarely ever see desync on our dedicated server(we host our server privatly from a non gaming hosting company 1Gigabit dedicated connection)

Hey guys, noticed lately there have been alot of new players lately with arma being on sale so often. I am have been playing DayZ since early July. My community has been hosting a Chernarus server for about 5 months now. I am one of the head admins for our server, however I have taken a break from the administrative duties and spread those jobs to others in our community. I removed the as50 and m107 from my server entirely. They do not belong in a zombie survival game, way to op. They shouldn't have been in the game to begin with.

No banditry intended, that wouldn't give myself or our server a very good reputation now would it? Now thats not to say there isn't banditry I am just offering to team up with new players that may like some help, someone to show them strategies or people that just want a team mate. Honestly I just want some new people to play with, possibly if I get a couple we can go attack the members of the group I normally play with :P

Just added The Silent Warrior Anti-Hack to our arsenal. We have also made Donator Perks available; nothing over powered. Nav gear; extra med supplies food some clothing bigger backpack. We aren't a EU server. We host from Kansas City however we have quite a good following from all over the ponds. 6-7 guys that hail from London, 4-5 from Australia. We are still running 1.7.4.4 due to the issues with the new patch. Will be updating when the new patch is stable.

Gotcha's tp prevention is flawed and unreliable as hell. It gives out more false positives then it catches real hackers. Just install the GCam script and rotate different admins watching suspected players. Best defense available right now.

I highly recommend the Control Center, we have at times had it running 4 servers at a time without any issues.

Depends on how the standalone goes for us. We will have our box regardless, so our DayZ mod server won't be going anywhere as long as people want to play on it. I suspect we won't be able to host our own SA server for a lil while after it is released so I foresee alot of mod servers staying up until that is a reality. Ours is private hive, we just couldn't deal with the server hopping and little to no hack prevention that is available on the public hives. The state of the mod just makes it pointless and a waste of time to run a public linked hive.

This. The admin map and all those tools can be acquired on your own. Other major benefit is being able to run a second instance without another monthly fee or even a different game server.

This. A dedicated box is a good bit more money but ultimately it is the best value. What ever you do though do not host through survival servers, before I had my dedicated box; we started on SS and it was terrible. Tools breaking every week, updates promised and would usually come a month after everyone else already had them. DayZ.st was much better but still not the control and scalability that dedicated box will give you.

Server IP: 74.91.17.211 port 2302 Server is not whitelisted, open for everyone to join. We used to run it as a all day server but after running a poll for 2 weeks our players voted for a day/night cycle which runs UTC-7. Full moon nights however so playing without NVGs is very doable. There are 200 vehicles, which our server automatically keeps it at that number after every restart which takes place every 4 hours. Starting loadout is 2 painkillers, can of beans and soda 2 bandages a makarov with 2 mags & patrol pack of course. Don't plan events ahead of time per say because our player spikes have been kind of unpredictable but we tend end up having some 5v5 sometimes more firefights in places like electro quite often and ususally atleast 2 heli dogfights a day.

We now operate a day/night cycle.
