I have a FX 8320 8 core clocked at 4Ghz. 8GB 1600mhz RAM and a 2GB 770. I have not played the Vanilla mod for about a year now. But I do play epoch from time to time. It runs about 40-50 FPS in most places but in cities about 30 and sometimes drops below that. But am going to assume since Epoch has more stuff going on. Maybe vanilla will have better FPS.

Am wondering if anyone can help me. I have a built a small base. 4 walls and a roof. Ok so I upgraded my wall to one with a door. I managed to find a combination lock. Now it gives me no option to add it to the door. If I press UPGRADE DOOR it just says Not set up yet. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

MSIAfterburnr? I did use that and only took about 5-10fps loss using the lossless codec. But now I use shadowplay since I have a GTX 700. Takes 0 FPS hits. Can record for as long as you want.

OP that is silly advice. The smart thing to do is purposely wear damaged or badly damaged clothing. Put all your gear in them. If you are unarmed or out of ammo and get held up. Don't let the bandits have there way make them work for there loot. If they shoot you then there is a good chance the items inside the damaged cloths will be destroyed. Meaning you die and respawn quickly. The bandits waste ammo and get noting out of it.

Not had any issues with the alpha as of yet. But I do have this little annoyance of blood bags. I have no problem finding blood bags and IV kits. But none have any blood in. I know you have to check what your blood type is how do you do this? I put my own blood in a syringe but it wont let me put it into a IV kit? I take it I have to hunt people down. Hold them up and steal there blood? Is this not something a bandit would do? I don't really want to play like a bandit. I have a suggestion have blood bags at hospitals like the mod. Obviously don't have plenty spawning in every hospital just make them rare or something?

Ahhh remember the good old days in the mod where the scariest thing was gates. Instant leg brakes right there.

I didn't realise tent's where in the SA yet. But I stumbled across one behind a house near the coast somewhere between electro and barizinho. It was the green army type ones we had in the mod. But I could not access it. Is this just apart of the scenery or can you actually store items in them?

So I seem to be doing well. Got my self some food and a few weapons. Did take a beating from a few zombies but I killed them. Bandaged my self up. Was searching a house then black screen you are unconscious. It has been like this for 10 minutes. How long does this last for?

Was in shock when I saw this on the store. How long has it been up? Ant been on the forum today and went to buy 7 days to die. Then saw this and instantly bought it.

Hello, Ok so yesterday I started playing DayZ Epoch. Built my self a small shed and shack :). Really enjoying this mod. I want to buy a safe from a trader but it requires 1 briefcase. Where on earth do you find one? I have checked office buildings and resident buildings but no luck so far. Am I looking in the correct places? Also some extremely lucky happened to me today. I am not sure if it was a glitch or luck. But I found someones base only a shack and 2 locked cars. There was a safe in the shack. I tried guessing the code a few times and I managed to open it :). Then to my disappointment all there was inside was a winchester and a food and ammo :(. That is what 1/10000 of happening. It has got to be a glitch or I get extremely lucky.

I have a budget build in my room which has a 4100 and a xfx 7850. It is fine for DayZ. Usually get 45-50 in open and about 30-35 in cities. I don't have it maxed out. I have aa on low. Shadows on normal object quality on very high. Rest are normal. Also I have view distance at 1500. Also remember to set video memory to default. Also disable PPAA and Post Process Effects.

I really like the ristrain feature. I would like to see at some point to be able to carry people who are restained for a set amount of time. For example maybe you just restained someone and you don't want them following you once there free or maybe you don't want another player to come across them once you have left them. So you can pick them up put them in a near by bush leave them restrained there. After a minute or 2 they will be able to break free.

It that a PC or laptop. You can probably just about play at 30+ fps with low settings and at 720p maybe lower.

The CPU is fine and so is the ram. I have the same CPU and I also have 8gb 1600mhz ram. But the 6670 wont get him high settings. I had the 6670 a year ago. Was able to run DayZ at about 40-50 fps on medium/low settings. It will do for not sure but if I where him I would be looking to get a better GPU in the next few months.

Solid build there and yes the 760 is better than the 660ti.
