Same here. The thing about setting up camp on a small island out at sea is what happens when you die? Sure your camp will be there but how are you going to get back to the camp without a boat? I have been playing this game for 2 months now and I have only ever came across 1 boat and it was fucked.

You BASTARDS! Give me back my tractor. I found a Tractor the other day and repaired it. Hid it in the middle of no where. Stored a load of loot inside it and logged of. Favorited the server and came back to the server today. My loot and tractor was still there. Got some more loot and saved at the tractor again. Logged off for a few hours I just come back and its GONE!. I thought the tractor would of vanished from the server when I logged off? Even if it didn't it would of had to been blind luck to fined it. Does it take a wile to load back into the game or something? As I think the server only just restarted when I logged back on just now.

I FOUND IT!!!! My tractor full of weapons and items are all back I am so happy.

I 100% made sure I saved it. Going back on now to see if its returned. Anyhow it was parked in a forest out of the way of all towns.

Fingers crossed. Even the sandbag I placed next to it (so I could fined it my self as it was so well hidden) is gone. Ill see if I can fined it tomorrow. Thanks.

Hello, I started playing DayZ since the last patch. I heard about cars and tents not saving. So I never bothered with them. But since the new patch I have set out to fined a tent to store stuff I fined. But I can't for the life of me fined a tent yet in the last patch I couldn't stop falling over the bloody things. So anyhow I found a tractor. Plenty of fuel but broken windows a bad engine. So I repaired the engine and set of to fined a nice hiding spot. I found one and parked the tractor up. I put most of my loot. I have saved the tractor and come of DayZ for a little bit. My question is do vehicles and tents follow me from server to server or do I have to keep joining the server I found it on? Thanks. P.S How many guns and items can I fit in this tractor?

Ok so I was just server UK278. I spawned in Elektro and went to the firestation (the one by the power plant). When I got there The whole place was barricaded up with barbed wire and sandbags and tank traps. I went prone when I noticed a bandit looking at me. I was typing friendly in the direct chat. Before I could send the message he started shooting at me. Lucky he missed me and I managed to take him out. Am not sure if this guy was guarding the place or looting it. Anyhow I could not get in to the place until I noticed a whole in the wall I could crawl under. So I got in and there was about 20 tents in there. All lined up outside and some inside. So I had a look inside but surprisingly there was no rare weapons but there was plenty of ammo and food. I did notice in 1 tent had pistols in there. One was a Makarov SD and a PDW SD. I have never seen these weapons in DayZ before so am guessing these might be hacked in? I never took them as I went for the M9 SD and ammo :lol:. So anyhow if you need ammo go to UK server 278 and go nuts looting :P. I know this might be a bit of a arse thing to do. But who ever these guys are there blocking of the firestation so no one else can go in so screw them haha.

I have a bandit skin and am friendly. I want to try and help anyone I fined. I give everyone I run into a fair chance. Just because they have a bandit skin on does not mean they shoot on site.

I wouldn't feel right using hacked in weapons. But the M9 SD is not a hacked weapon so I had no problem taking that and about 8 mags of ammo for it lol.

So the new DayZ patch came out today via DayZ commander. I installed it and noticed right of the bat the debug menu is gone. Am a little gutted about that as I would like to know how much blood I have left. Anyhow I found my self a Lee Enfield as I died again today. I knew this was a very loud gun but since the new update it is even way louder. For example in the last patch if you shot the Lee Enfield in the middle of Elektro you will probably only attracted 3 or 4 zombies. But just now I was in elektro getting some supplies I was in a building on the top floor. I noticed 2 zombies going into the church I thought to my self. There must be a player in there most likely a fresh spawner. So I did the good thing and shot the 2 zombies before they could get in the church. But all of a sudden I just heard loads of zombies surrounding the building I looked out the windows at one of the firestation and zomebies where running from there to the house I was in. I then looked out the other windows and zombies where everywhere. About 20 zombies all trying to get into the house I was in. I hid in the corner of the room watching the zombies come up the stairs then walk in the room then back out there was loads of them. I wish I had FRAPS on. Has anyone else noticed this?

See what I did there with the title :beans: . Anyhow ever since I have played this mod I have only ever came come accross one friendly person. He was unarmed at the time so who knows if he would of shot me if he had a weapon. Any how after about 8 weeks of playing this game I finaly ran into another player who had a gun and never shot at me. Instead he asked how I was doing. We chatted for a little bit I told him I just broke the window to the hostpital if he needs some supplies. He said thanks and was on his way. Makes a change from being shot at.

No don't be removing things. I know barbed wire can be annoying to some players.Think of it like this if an apocalypse did happen in real life would you not want to baracade your self in a house? What I like to do is on a fresh spawn is head to elektro or Cherno. I will get a much supplys as I can then get out of there. But I don't leave without a map. So if there is no map around I will find my self some tank traps/barbed wire and trap my self in a house (only if I have a toolbox). This protects me from other players near enough. Instead of taking babred wire out of the game how about you add more toolboxes to the game?

What happened to the Debug menu? I was so close to losing my - humanity to + humanity.

Go to the nearest dam and blow it up flood the whole Chernarus. Or go to a firestation and plant one in there then wait until someone goes in and blow it up. Or go to fag hill (where the snipers hang out) and leave it there. Wait until a team or gay snipers turn up to shoot at fresh spawners. Blow them all to hell.

Why not download the Arma 2 free edition. If that works fine then DayZ will be fine.

I freshly respawned last night got into Elektro got some things I needed and got out of there. Started going NE to get to the airfield so as I started making my way up the hil looking over Elektro I notcied a Sniper I shot and missed him and as you may of guessed he quit. All I had on me was a few cans of food and drink and a lee enfiled. So after he quit I thought I will get behined the trees and call it a night. So just now I logged into Server DE 649 I think it was. As soon as I logged in I heard multiple shots all around me but I never quit I crawled around to see where the shots where coming from when I notcied 5 maybe even more people walking down the hill from the trees. I thought well if they see me and dead if I somehow manage to kill them ill get some decent loot. So I shot and every single one hit the deck. Except for one who seemed like he was panicking and finding it hard to press the Z button. So I shot him and blood started pooring out and what did he do. He quit and so did the guy lying down next to him. I then got shot me self and died. Seriously your all think you have balls the size of bowling balls when your in a group with sniper rifles and god knows what else. Shooting at most likely Fresh spawners in Elektro but you shit your selfs when 1 guy starts shooting with a Lee Enfield really? I have saw many pathetic moments on computer games over the years but this tops the lot. Well done you guys/girls are the biggest losers I have ever encounted in a computer game. I am now off to ENJOY! starting a fresh scavaging for any weapon I can fined along with food ect. If your reading this get ready to quit again as am going to come up with just an axe.

I wish I could get a AS50 but I have only ever found it once and that was when I had a shoot out with another bandit and killed him :(.

I agree Bl00g00 Aborting the game because your getting shot is just sad and pathetic. Now I have a bandit rag on my head at the moment because I admit it early on in the game I shot anyone who came close to me as I completely crapped my self when I saw another player. I enjoy this feeling as I have never felt so pumped playing a game in years. But now I know how the whole thing works I give people a chance. When ever I see another player now I still crap my self even if all they have is a axe.

Rocket has said the MOD will still get updates ect do the MOD won't die off any time soon.

So I was trying to make my way to the North East Airfield and I had a sniper in my backpack and a decent rifle in hand. I had plenty of cooked meat and water and medical supplies. On the way there I saw a trackter on top of a hill. I slowly made my way up checking all around in case it was a trap. I got to it and I was suprised that it was in good nick but noting was stored in it. So I got it and for the first 10 seconds it went great. I was well on my way to the airfield until my trackter went out fo controll wile going down hill and crashed into a tree and I died :(. Kind of wish I played the basic training for this lol.

At the moment I am -1400 with a stupid bandit rag on my head. Ok I admit it I got nerves when other people ran up to me with a hatchet ect. But I have killed a few bandits as well. My question is how to get my humanity down? It seems like it slowly goes down over time. The weird thing is sometimes when I die and respawn I will have 0 humanity but still have a bandit rag on. Then a few minutes later I will have a survivor cap on witch is what I want. But then when I start gaining humanity and log off. When I come back I have -1400 humanity and the bandit rag back.

So I died today :( and I had to start fresh. So I got lucky or as others might say unlucky to spawn in Elektro. I had a search around a few buildings managing to pick up a Makarov and a Double Barral Shot gun. I got to the church and once I got by the door I heard a crack and a bullet hitting the wall in front of me. I run into the chruch and close the doors. I grab some pellet ammo what was in the church and put a wire fence up by the door. I hide behind the tombs in the church thinking what to do next. Do I just leg it or quit the server and join another one? Then I realised what I did a few minutes before I just put a wire fence down but I don't have a toolbox to take it down. I was about to quit until I heard someone shooting what sounded like Revolver. I stay where I am for a few seconds then I notcie the church door open. Its the sniper he looks around then looks at the wire fence then starts to take it down. A zombie then came into the chutch and started to attack him. i knew this was my moment and come from cover got a little closer to him and shot him right in the back of the head with a double barral. He died right away. I then had to deal with a few zombies coming in the church but they where easy to kill. I then go over to his body and loot it. Who ever you where thanks for the M24 and mags and the cooked meat taste to good with the tin of beans. Seriousy had you been sitting there for hours and not seen anyone? Was I your first pick of the day? Could you not stand the waiting anymore? Because you missed me you thought you would come out of your bird next to come and shoot me up close and personal? Idiot snipers.
