Until there is better measures in place to prevent script kiddies/hackers the game simply isn't playable. I can get a full set of gear in ten minutes... Just because they have collectively spawned in more weapons than the Soviet Army has at their disposal. I'll stick to scout sniping in Battlefield 3 until I see some changes.

I do, but then I set missions like take over cherno or elektro or even NW airfield. Have you obtained the PBX and Heli? Set missions. Do them. Execute as a team doing even the silliest things and you will laugh your ass off. Honestly there is no end game to this. So create what you want it to be.

If you are a threat you die. Otherwise i break your legs and walk away.

The standalone game is in development along side Arma 3. Expect to see it around November. (No guarantees here). The DayZ mod will continue to get support after the standalone is out. It will probably fade out around then but I'm sure there will be players. For the next couple months you can kill for beans, get killed for beans, and survive in the hell that is in Chernarus. Why not? The game is well worth it. I have spent 60$ for a piece of shit game that I play for 14 hours and beat it then what? I have logged 70+ on DayZ and I do not intend to stop. Get it if you like the idea of fighting for your life every moment.

What you did was flush it. Works better and more often if you change your video memory to high then to default. Note that isnt a fix. Just a way around it temporarily. Rockets 1.7.3 will actually fix it though. Edit: The DayZ Dev teams v1.7.3. Didn't mean to exclude all the others.

Although I am interested in how this could work out I am curious how this is any different than the 200m zone every player creates. All it would do is tether more zombies to the players(Goodbye FPS). Either way you know when players are near.
