    Less military weapons

    Hell I own 2 Ak's along with 1 M4 Let me clarify this a bit. I own 2 AK's real life. It's not a military only weapon. ((Safe for automatics as you need a class 3 weapons license in the US to own automatic firearms.))

    The only reason DayZ hasn't self destructed is ((Because when we die we re spawn)) Without respawning after death Chern would be an empty, desolate place with nothing but zombies. ((As we would have all killed each other.))

    A good idea as well, though I think lore-wise people arn't infected from being attacked or even bitten, would have to double check.

    If Zombie mechanics where fleshed out a bit more, no buggy pathing and random spawns on top of you it would allow for this, and a new style of play that involved fighting more then sneaking, till then I would say hold this idea in a notepad on your desktop =D

    Refillable ammo clips

    As PlayZ said... Dropping your weapon already carries the risk of losing it, so dumping my shiny new M24 for a second to get the crowbar out to refill my mags is not a risk I plan to take. If you could use the crowbar from the toolbelt perhaps, but we're also already running on rather small inventories. ((Between ALL the crap we already have to carry for survival)) carrying around empty mags would be cumbersome unless they got their own section. This would allow new, interesting forms of gameplay, like holding ammo stashes with your buddy, but it would need to eb fleshed out to work properly and not just be a pointless addition. Btw your english is great, would have never been able to tell it wasn't your first language if you hadn't said.

    Play as a zombie

    Very very interesting idea, but you'd have to be careful. Say I where to get turned into a zombie and camp... Berinzino for instance on the main road. Mid day and I see a player prone crawling to get through the city. I run up while he's near zombies. He now has two options. A: shoot me, alerting ALL thezombies in the area, or B get up and run, in which case alerting all the zombies in there area. So lets say he gets up and runs. Zombies are faster then the survivors the only reason they don't catch us is they have to stop to attack. So me, being my steepdy zombie self runs in front of the fleeing survivor to try and block him. Now he stops to try and defend himself, I begin to circle and zigzag walk him with the glitchy pathing while all my zombie buddies show up. Without a few zombie fixes it would be gamebreaking.

    Again, good idea but it needs to be programmed within the peramiters of the engine. Programming inside a pre-existing engine isn't magic. I can't go around flying a Volkswagen that shoots lasers from the headlights while the lead singer of queen personally sings "We are the champions" on the hood of the car, while in Dayz, the engine has to have the mechanics for such implementation. Things can only be programmed within the confines of the engine. Edit: Butchered that bit of text, needed a few spelling corrections. This is one of the reasons I believe Rocket wanted to go stand alone. So there is more freedom outside the "Military simulator" engine that is Arma II

    The only thing this would do is to teach people to Alt+F4 faster. Gunshot nearby and the guy missed? Whelp free life!" Alt F4 Oh crap there's a guy coming out of that building and straight towards me Alt f4 Taking damage or firing your weapon only solves a tiny part. Also since Iw as in a dota 2 game mid write up seems alot of people posted. This game is not an MMO it is a mod build off a already pre existing game engine. To my knowledge this engine never had a debuff and buff system, since arma 2 was a military simulator and I know that the military doesn't have a buff or debuff system XD On top of that IF by some strange happen chance the server COULD track something like combat, you know how much it would have to track. Imagine if you will a 50 man server, full and by chance every has and ax and whacks a zombie at the same time, welcome to server crash XD

    All hail Badjr God of the forums, for if thoust anger Badjr feel the wrath of his divine tantrum within your topics. Now onto the topic subject. I heard it's a few more things then the military corpses causing it, certain barbed wire fences and such. Regardless found a fx that works every so often, swapping your graphic memory around SOMETIMES fixes it. Edit: and for the hell of it, the reason badjr is catching flack from me is the fact that not only was his sole purpose for hopping into this topic to complain to the OP about the other multiple threads about the same subject through the forums. He did it in the most douche possible way while contributing NOTHING to the topic no one else BUT he seemed to have an issue with. Hey Bad welcome to forums, pick a forum ANYWHERE on the net that doesn't have a multi topic or two.

    Imho it's a good idea, but too annoying to implement and track server side for such a little improvement to gameplay.
  15. My friend showed me a picture a couple days ago. Showed a guy standing on the lighthouse railing and there was about 15 bodies sitting below... The removal of the respawn buttons only accomplishment is now you have to run through a town to find a high building, =P
